starskie was special edition for a bit

Yeah. they were painted over Inno's like JR already said. Just a way to get rid of those Inno's left in the stores and in the warehouse.

No, it's the same stick as the True1, except maybe a different blade. I'm pretty sure its exactly the same, but I have heard that the blades have been changed. Either way, it's gonna be about the same weight as a True1 aka 425g.

I've followed the various discussions about Warrior on this board and I'm confused. On one hand, a lot of people keep speculating that the Dolomite is just a 1100 and the Mac Daddy is a True One, both with a new blade. But a few people have posted comments saying that they have actually used Dolomites and that they are indeed different (lighter, more durable, better performance).

Another thing that I don't understand is that I remember a post when the news of Warrior aquiring Inno first came out, someone said that Warrior hired some stick designers from other companies (e.g., Easton). Now why would they hire stick designers if all they were doing is changing the graphics on old sticks?

And another thing I don't understand: I know that a few top NHL players have used Innos for quite a while and have now changed over to Warrior. That's understandable. But why are there suddenly so many more top NHLers using Dolomites. It seems like every game I watch, I see more and more Dolomites. Are you guys saying these players are just suckers who are falling for Warrior marketing and graphics? I just think the new sticks must have something about them that makes at least 2-3 players on every team use them.

I know JR looked at some Starskies and said they were old Innos and Chadd mentioned that some where 1100's while others were True Ones. I can see how Warrior would come out with a "limited edition" Starsky to dump old Innos, but I just don't see the Dolomite and Mac Daddy being repackaged old-school Innos. It doesn't make sense.

For those in or near the UK (or desperate), looks like this place has a limited amount of the new Warrior product (AK27, Dolomite, Mac Daddy, Royale on the next page). Only RH need apply...

EDIT: Seems like I'm behind the times. Perani's in Michigan has them too. Maybe I just missed it.

Peranis have AK27???
