Thedore Tested Positive For Banned Substance

Jose Therodore just got tested positive for a banned substance in the Olympics right now. That test was taken during the off season Team Canada camp. It apparently was Rogaine that was found, to those who don't know what that is, people take that to help prevent the lost of hair.

and it's not banned by the NHL, but by the Olympic and world cup association.

Apparently Rogaine is often used to mask other substances. I just can't believe that he did that, he certainly didn't take that go augment the percentage of hair on his body.

Well Theo does have that long hair, and he is French. I'm thinking it's just an overall vanity issue.

If only I could draw really well I would probably draw Theo with enough hair that you coudn't see his face with a bunch of pucks in the goal. Next to him you could see a defencemen saying, Theo why didn't you stop it, and Thero would say, well I coudn't see a thing.

I read that as well. But because, as someone has already pointed out, it's not illegal in the NHL so he won't be fined or banned by them. Here's the statement from NHL Deputy Commisioner Bill Daly.

Ok, don't make a big deal out of this. Theo was allowed by the NHL to use this drug for his hair but he forgot to mention it to the Olympic testers. (Stupid move i agree). Dick Pound (The international anti-drug agency president) hates the NHL, he says players are all on dope and that the anti-drug policy in the NHL is incomplete so he'll jump on any occasion he has to ruin players reputations.

So that thing for hair is used mainly to hide nandrolone, a steroid used by weight lifters with massive muscle masses. I don't think it's an issue for a Goalie.

And yes, it's a nightmare year for Theodore:

-Family guilty of illegal loaning. (His brother AND Father)

-His stepfather Guy Cloutier, a very known showbizz personality in Quèbec was guilty of child abuse on Nathalie Simard, another popular singer here.

-He has the worst season ever, fans are really rude to him, so are journalists (Montréal is a crazy hockey city you know, EVERYONE cares about the habs.)

-His wife is pregnant (i dunno if this a factor but probly)

-Now the positive test.

This guy is brave, hes got some balls cause he always face the journalists, answers questions, speaks the truth. I think his career could be a lot better away from montreal.

An American Skeleton racer got banned from the Olypmpics just hours before the opening ceremonies for using the same stuff. He pulled his hat off and showed just how bad he needs it. Poor guy has hair like me, not much.
