Nelly 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2006 I played against Jed Ortmeyer when I was in high school and on occasion I intercepted a pass or two from him and to him. Jed played with Mark Messier on the Rangers and has received passes from Mark and given them. Mark played with Wayne and has received passes from Wayne and given them. Therefore I have intercepted a pass from Wayne and a pass to Wayne :D and this deflected pass was shot upwards into my face, so i now blame wayne gretzky for the titanium plate where my cheekbone used to be. That jerk! And that deflected pass came from a deflected shot off my right pad. Also a buddy I used to play with has an uncle who sold Gretzky an airplane. I went Statue of Liberty off of a shot from Dave Wilkie (sp?) who recieved a pass from Wayne during his short stint with the Rangers....SOOOO I made a statue of liberty save against Wayne. Nelly 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2006 I didn't have time to make this one in my original post, so here it goes...My mother's-uncle's-sister's-cousin's-grandpa's-brother's-wife's-great uncle's-aunt's-father's-cousin married someone also rediculously related to Peter Forsberg WHO.... while skating for a gold medal with the '94 Swedish Olympic team, scored the game winning goal against Manny Legace and Canada in the finals. Manny Legace played with Khimik Voskresensk (Russian League) during NHL lockout and Ovechkin is playing for Russia in Torino. Oveckin recorded his first career hat-trick in Anahiem where Teemu Selanne plays in the Pacific Conference with Mike Modano who plays with Robert Esche for USA. Esche played with the Springfield Falcons which are the AHL affilate for the Phoenix Coyotes that are coached by Wayne Gretzky. Okay that took incredibly WAY too long and I think I lost a few brain cells because I was stupid enough to try and piece that together and was bored enough to do so. I think I need some sleep!! Sorry...it was like 5 something in the morning and I was tired and had couldn't find the game summary of a game that was played outside the USA involving amature non-americans that took place 12 years ago. Since I was just a wee little lad at the time and could not remember who it was exactly, I presumed from the roster that I found of the game that it was Manny. And besides Me being linked to Chuck Norris and still being alive is like a fat kid at a Sara Lee factory!Fonya, we do really get the whole point of this...which is to just have fun! Dont take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive...Either way, Me > distantly related to Peter Forseberg > Gretzky
Quintin 16 Report post Posted February 27, 2006 me --> will meet Theo Fleury on Sunday --> Theo has played against/with/for GretzkyI guess it hasnt happened yet but i'm pretty excited to be meeting Theo :D Theo Fleury's a great guy. Even with his past misdemeanours and off ice problems, he's so down to Earth. I'll never forget that time he punched my shoulder and said "Best of Luck in your hockey career kid"...and signing a TON of autographs (Theeo, I have mooorree!)
