Have you seen these OPS before?

Recommended Posts

I've touched the company after my post, now, I'm sure they made all the sticks in the picture, and Innovative is also made by them.

I was told they can sell some OPS to me for about $50/Pcs, but I have to buy more than 50 Pcs.

There's another pic they send to me.

ISAC was at the show and the sticks seemed blade heavy. I wasn't impressed at all. Tundra is made by Ballistik. The Ferland sticks are only available in Europe according to the guy at DR.

isac sticks are now available in Calgary, via Stick-Fix. From the isac website, it looks like isac in Sweden is now also a Stick-Fix franchisee.

Has anybody tried these sticks? Are they available in other Stick-Fix franchises in North America?

The Stick-Fix owner here gave me a nice, detailed chat about the isac stick and his repaired sticks.

We've got an Isac Cobra like the second black and white stick in the picture that we use as a demo stick. Everyone that picks that one up and shoots with it wants to keep it.

Chadd is definitely correct that it was a bit blade heavy, but now it's got an Oggie on the end, so problem solved.

Flex is dead-on accurate when measured on the Oggie Tru-Flex, but then again we only measured one stick from them.

I agree with the comment about wanting to keep the ISAC Cobra.. i demoed one the other weekend and i actually loved it. It was blade heavy, but with 100 flex, Drury curve it was heaven in my hands.

i picked up a ISAC Cobra for a friend a few weeks ago, and i must say. I also wanted to keep the stick.

Isac sticks are becoming quite popular here in Sweden, and there is a few players in the SEL who use the Cobra.. Andreas Karlsson (played in tampa last season), and Andreas Holmquist of Frolunda Indians bothe use the cobra,,

Heard through a source that many OPS are made in China due to costs, but some companies (like Easton, again, what I was told) is switching back to Mexico for production for quality control. When I was told that, I was surprised, since I thought all Easton's sticks are made in Mexico.

Says on this site they're available in Halifax at Stick Fix Halifax as well.

Bringing up a dead thread....

As a Stick Fix Franchise, we've got the NA rights to distribute the ISAC sticks. I'm looking into bringing some into my area to demo and get an idea of how players would feel about a "new" brand in the market. We already have Torspo and Balistik trying to get in the market here (Minnesota), so this could be overkill.

I just got my 1st one to demo today (2007 Cobra), but won't be able to skate with it until next Wednesday. It feels nice...grip, 90-flex and a Forsberg curve. The weight was 457g on my gram scale, so a little heaver than a Stealth...Although it is about 3 inches longer than a stock Easton.

Any body out there use these sticks regularly? How do you like them?

Any feedback (good or bad) would be appreciated.
