I bought a pair of SP's from Epuck a while ago and they lasted a full year without getting ripped up too bad. Some minor holes from skates but nothing major at all.

the SPs I had seemed to last the longest for me a full season of hockey 2-3 days a week before they showed holes. They're just now getting pretty bad 2 years later, of course I've stopped playing as regularly, but still the other socks I've had don't seem to last that long.

I have had the same ccm's for two years now and they just started getting holes in them.

I think SP is another manufacturer like CCM they used to make the AHL jerseys if I remember correctly.

not sure who, or how many companies make them, but mesh socks are supposed to be extremely resistant to holes. they kinda look like jersey sleeves.

I sell the Pear Socks brand. The adult size are plenty long and won't shrink from washing in cold water and keeping them out of the dryer. The pairs I have used have held up really well. I do think sox can go at any time, though. For $10-$14 a pair, its not too much $$.

Anyone know a reliable well known store preferably with a website that sells pear sox that would ship to the UK?

Places like the NHL shop and sportunlimited and dicksportinggoods are just unreliable. :(

Great product, I love their sanitary socks. Their Pink jerseys are actually pretty nice too, a nice bibble gum shade.

How about Supermesh? would it last longer for inline than (the bottum half of) regular Inline pants?

Playa28: www.whitebear.de

They make hockeysocks (traditional & supermesh) for several IISHF teams in Germany.

Play on asphalt, and it rips our Mission Pants apart pretty fast, so most of the players run around with huge wholes and gasps in their pants.

All the holes are from the knees and down, so we've talked about switching to traditional hockeysocks and cover pants, but nobody on the team knows how supermesh will hold up compared to the material on our inlinehockey Pants?

The price is around 20$'s for a pair of Supermesh hockeysocks, so instead of buying a pair of inlinepants for 50-60$, we would save money. Even if they are only half as durable we would still cash.
