what does everyone do for jobs?

Recommended Posts

I was a bouncer in college at a small semi-dive bar with a mixed crowd of college kids/bikers/inncer city folk out to get ripped.  Apparently they had a bunch of stabbings and almost nightly fights, so they had to bring in inexperienced / low-paid ($10/hr) bouncers to settle things down.  In the summer I was there, I only had to break up one girl fight and warn a few drunk guys that were puffing their chests to settle down.  Once drunks see someone who "should" know how to beat their ass has an eye on them, they typically settle down.  It was painfully boring most of the time...not like a NYC club or strip club that's for sure.

so what does a bouncer do?

Stand outside clubs/bars and make sure no trouble goes off

I just concluded my work at Bergdorff Goodman, a high end luxury retailer on fifth avenue in New York. With the upcoming fall semester of school I will not be able to work the hours they mandate. I am currently working on getting a job for the weekends. I am currently interviewing for a job at the Lulu Castagnette showroom in SoHo. They are a bridge-high end french womensware company. That may be an itneresting job.

So you were selling Oxia huh? ;)

I'm a jack of all trades...

*Retail Sales Rep (sporting goods retailers, ASI retailers, and direct corporate accounts)

*Pro Hockey Sales Rep

*Product Manager

*Janitor (wife's business)

*IT Department (wife's business)

*Mystery Shopper (I mystery shop restaurants for a major soft drink company)

*Dad (to a 4 year old dog that is our son)

Got a few things in the works on top of all of that.

Damn, you got so many jobs. You sure you ain't Jamaican?

I will not stand for this sort of racism and steriotyping. I think it is an atrocity that in this day and age people must be subjected to these terrible and painfull actions. I will hope this post will be IMMEDIATLEY taken down or I may have to call the NAACP and the ACLU. This is just horrible.
