Bluetooth Accessories

Recommended Posts

I was looking through some ads, and came across some in-expensive Bluetooth accessories. So, I was wondering, is buying products for a Bluetooth-enabled phone worth it? What are the advantages and disadvantages? Thanks for the help.

Erik

Any specific companies you would recommend? I know about Motorola, and they seem to be the best, but also most expensive.

Why do people need a handsfree device when walking around in public? Is there a reason why you can pick up the phone with you're damn hands?

It's hard to hold the phone when driving or if you're doing something with your hands while talking on the phone.

Carrying aound a coffee coolata is no reason to need to go handsfree. Bluetooth is a good idea for when you can use you're hands, but i've never seen anyone use one when they need it. Then again, NY is all about the look, so i guess its ok

Thought about getting one for my Treo but I talked to someone who had one and it picked up all sorts of background noise.

Some models are better than others.

The number one priority of the cell phone industry should be flawless headsets, whether wireless or plugged in, because I'm convinced that people speak WAY too loudly on their cellphones because they can't hear themselves well enough through their phone, so they naturally assume they have to speak louder.

Which, of course, allows the rest of us three tables over to plainly hear for the next twelve minutes, "Blah, blah, blah...."

You should be able to play mp3s through your bluetooth earpiece if your phone includes OBEX. Look at a site like allwirelesstalk.com for more info

I use mine a lot.. I work in a small shipping department (one room) and like being able to talk on the phone and type/package/invoice all the same time. I dont really use it out of office.
