One90 Gloves

Recommended Posts

So anyone pick any of these up yet. I was at my lhs this afternoon to pick up a blade for inline/roller hockey and I was seeing what they have gotten in so far from NBH. I tried the one90's and 70's on and I loved the fit of them. They remind me a bit of my current Supreme 5000's but are a bit more fitted and just feel better overall. I don't know personally if it's worth the price difference to grab the one90's over the 70's, but generally overall I'm impressed with the gloves. They feel excellent, especially because I hate short cuff gloves that float a lot (ie: Easton, etc).

Personally if you like a don't like short cuff floating gloves, I'd definitely say check this line out, and even if you tend to wear the short gloves, I'd still say try em on just for the hell of it. If the skate series is as impressive as the glove series revamp, then NBH really should be applauded.

the one90 feels like a nice well fitting golf glove. The supreme 70 and 50 feel more like your average glove. The jump is pretty drastic in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, they feel nice, but not nearly as nice as the one90. Once you try the one90 I don't think you'd settle for the supreme 70 or 50. I also really like the padding on the "pointer" finger, first glove I've tried on recently with any side protection for that finger. Oh and the look of the gloves are growing on me :P

It's killing me because I want new gloves and I've been trying to decide between the vector pros or the warrior king pins(although I haven't tried them on)... but now that I've tried the one90s they're pretty high on the list now.

The Supreme 70s are still comfy without going deep into your wallet. The extras that are on the Supreme One90s, though, do blow you away when you see them.

The 90's are definitely nice, but there really isn't much of a difference between the 70 and the 90 when talking gloves. The biggest difference is the palm really. The lining, protection, etc is all the same. The 70 easily in my opinion is the best glove under $100 right now.

The 50's are a drop off though.

Any comparison to the way eagles feel?

Eagles are a loose fitting glove, One90s are a tight fitting glove. I highly doubt you can compare Eagle/One90

Can anyone post a higher quality picture(better than whats in the nbh catalog) of the one90 gloves in black and red? I've only seen them in a couple colors(the red and blue and the black and white).

Didn't want to start a new topic, so.... I searched and couldn't find anything on durability in these gloves. There are 2 reviews and they don't say anything about long term on them.

I've had mine for about 3-4 months now and I'm already starting to wear through the palm. I'm down to just nylon where the butt-end of my stick meets my palm. I'm using Tacki-Mac grips (which is supposed to save your palm), so I'm really concerned about the durability on mine. Is anyone else having this problem? I hope I won't have to buy new gloves again this year.

The one90s did feel real nice, but I'd be happy with the 50s too as I don't think I'd ever need that much glove. They did feel a bit average, but still like the slightly tighter fit.

I have a pair of One90s. The fit really is amazing, but I had a problem where the same spot on both my pinkies was chewed, to the point where I have to wrap them every time I play. That problem aside (someone has also mentioned it in another thread), I'd definitely recommend them.

That was what I was looking for but I just bit the bullet and bought them a couple weeks after I posted that.

I find the fit to be similar to the vapor xxxs in the fingers just doesn't have the flared cuff.

used my one90s for their first game lastnight, worked out well, very comfy.

so one90 will have tighted fitted as like vapor gloves?

They're tighter fitting than the vapors. The XXXs are a little bit looser than the XV and XX BUT have a flaired cuff that makes it feel really loose. The XV and XX are tighter fitting than the XXX, although very slightly... but they aren't as tight as the supreme series(Supreme 30/50/70 or supreme one90).

Very true...the flared cuff makes them feel looser than they feel in the fingers. I also see that no one has mentioned the NBH Pro 4-roll glove. Man, talk about a classic feel. I absolutely love them.

I find them too bulky and with the dri-fit liner in there now it feels even more bulky. Very comfortable and not too restrictive but bulky.

It's nice that NBH offers soo many different fits of gloves but if you don't have a quality LHS and can try most of them on it's tough to figure out what's what.
