Vapor XXX Lite Woody OPS

There will be a Vapor XXX Lite OPS with a wood grain finish look to it from blade to butt end for Holiday '06. Seniors only, all three flexes, patterns PM9, P92, 106. It looks pretty neat. Sorry, I only saw a sample, no pix to share.

ya my store got a chance to see them as well today from our rep. The sticks look AMAZING, and the One90 stick is indeed a different stick for those of you who thought it was a XXX-Lite painted like a One90. They revamped their XXX-Lite to add more duarbility as well.

Because it is different and kind of cool. I like the look of wood sticks but the performance of composite sticks...i'm sure a lot feel the same way.

IMO, this is akin to asking why they paint OPS and shafts, and not letting them remain their "natural" color or whatever... It's just like those fancy paint jobs they put on OPS nowadays except it's made to look like wood. It's not that ridiculous if you think about it.

Hmm...I don't think it's like painting the sticks in general. They're purely technological. It makes sense to have a flashy paintjob on it. Painting it doesn't make it look like anything else, except in this case--what the OPS is replacing. The outside doesn't match the inside. That's cool that you (all of you) disagree. It's just opinion but I just had to post my thoughts. This is the funniest piece of hockey equipment I have ever come across.
