Well now that another season is in the books, looking back, what did you guys enjoy this season? What was your favorite moment or game or goal, something along those lines?

I will start. My top two would be: When Malik scored that between the legs goal in the shootout to win it for the Rangers.

When the Wings were down 2-0 against the Blackhawks, scored two goals with 30 something seconds left in the game, then won it in overtime.

Favourite moment was Steen's goal against Vancouver where he had to handle it between his legs.

Favourite game was Mats 4 goal game vs. Florida.

I went to see the preseason caps game against Pittsburgh, hoping to see how good crosby really was. I have been a huge russian hockey fan for a couple of years now, but i still kind of thought crosby would overshadow ovey. Crosby didn't play and ovey had a hat trick, at least one maybe two assists and scored in the mock shootout. I was also at the first game of the season where ovey dominated from the first shift out. what a beast, it makes me so happy that there's a reason to watch the caps now.

Ovechkin and Crosby so there can be a nice little competition (if not rivalry) going between two stars like there hasn't been in, oh, forever. That and scores can now almost accurately reflect my XBox games.

3. The 2 games I saw in Montreal (sadly, both losses) but still AWESOME.

1- Ovechkin.. a breat of fresh air for the league. A magnificent player that just oozes talent and has "I love playing hockey" written all over him.. What a great player to watch

2- This one's a tough one... Crosby undressing Theodore in the Shootouts or Spezza undressing both Souray and Theodore in OT

I'm already in NHL Withdrawal with no hockey!

1. NHL Center Ice TV package: getting home from the shop late to watch West Coast hockey teams, especially high speed Northwest Division.

2. Being at MSG to see Messier's #11 retired is an event I will never forget.

3. Shootouts with great saves and great goals.

4. Watching Detroit and Ottawa implode in the playoffs. I love the hot teams during the regular season. They always tease their fans before the meltdown.

5. NJ Devils end of season winning streak to win division. Never saw that coming!

6. New rules with more ice in attack zone. The first two weeks were the best when D-men didn't have a clue and defensive forwards couldn't close off cross ice passes.

7. Speed through center ice and into attack zone without the old bs holding, hooking, clutching, grabbing, and slashing.

8. The surprising and appreciated improvement of the Rangers before the Olympics caught up with them in March. This unfortunately makes Sather look good, oh well.

9. The best rookie class since 1979.

10. A Stanley Cup Finals series that looked over early but ended up as a classic with great play at both ends of the ice.

11. Finally, an excellent Olympic tournament where all the teams played like it mattered. Favorites turned into dogs and skill was rewarded by the big ice surface.
