They are avail in the US as the Nike Free 7.0... for about $80 US...cheaper than Canada. There is just no Bauer in the name.

Check nike.com

In the US is marketed only as a cross trainer and has no mention of hockey.

Nike marketing just marketed the shoe under NBH, states that is designed for hockey and jacks the price up by $30 in Canada.

There are two 7.0's, the nikebauer and the nike, differences mainly that the nike 7.0 is geared more towards strictly indoors while the nikebauer is more durable and can be worn outdoors.

It is the same shoe except for various aesthetic details (the NBH logo on the tongue of the 'Canada Only Shoe' and the lightning bolt stamp on the straps of the reguar 7.0 shoe).

the NBH shoe is also limited to varying stores in canada. Theres only a few stores in ontario that carry them

In Vancouver it is available at all Sport Chek stores, New Age Nike Shops, Champs, Footlocker, and NBH First Line LHS.

Hey so if I work at a FLD, they are available? Nice...are these the exact same as the normal free 7.0 besides the NBH logo? They look a little different in pics.

i work for FGL. my store carries them. i ahve a pair too. the way they work is they are the same as the nike free shoes. the free shoes are on a scale of 1-10. that is the flex of the shoe's sole. they are used to just stregnth your foot, so you can gain more power in skating. we sell them for 129.99

I was curious after reading this thead and decided to check them out online... They look really good! One of the first crosstraining shoes that I've actually liked the style.

Do you guys think these would be okay for playing hockey outside. I've seen a few of my friends rip their shoes while running and then trying to stop. Also what are the differences between the 7.0 and 5.0. Would the 5.0 be okay for playing hockey outside as well

These are $59.99US at Foot Locker, the US Nike one.

Minus the 30% discount this week, and you can own a pair for $42 whole dollars.

But noone will want them because they dont say NikeBauer

The lower the number, the closer the shoe is supposed to mimic training, running, etc. in your bare feet. The 7.0 was created because the 5.0s had duarabililty problems (tearing) especially when used by football players (which Nike marketed to last summer) durng their training sessions. I probably would not wear them for outside hockey.
