Sprung Hockey

Recommended Posts

I played fore the first time on the sprung voodoo A6 frames today. I loved it. They are awsome. Got them mounted on a CCM Vector Pro boot. Best inline skate i´ve ever had. It was the first time this year we played rollerhockey. I am looking forward to easter wenn we are going to play an indoor tournament.

Anyone who has ordered Sprungs recently... what is the average turn around time from purchase to receiving them? I ordered a pair last week or so and I am getting anxious. Thanks.

Also, I think I read this earlier but dont recall, what type of spacers am I going to need with the Sprung axles? Floating? Long?

My sprungs arrived in a week. It was very fast shipping, especially since I live in Canada. Also, you'll need floating spacers.

Wait, so I need to buy floating spacers? They aren't included with the frames? If so, can someone give me a link. I use Bones Swiss 608 bearings.

Thanks alot.

If I order through sprung, will I get the new model? Because I was talking to my LHS people and they said that the new model was still being tested.

You can buy the new model right off the website. I've been skating on it for months.

They are available on our site, and now for anybody west of the Mississippi who's LHS is supplied by Hockey West, they'll be coming to you're zone, too.

We are way happy to have them working with us. Makes us a bit more real.

I'm getting ready to do a new site, and I'd love to get as many short opinions on the frames as possible for it. Like your name, where you are, how old you are, old or new or both models, ice vs roller performance, etc. This is going to be the primary part of the site. If you want you can send a small chunk picture of your skates. Please email them to me keith@sprung-inline.com

Thanks, Keith

PS Welcome back MSH, we missed you!!!

Any plans for getting them into Western Canada?

We have desires, more than plans, so far. We've been approached by a few distributors around the world, and we're talking to all. It's definitely that time. It's probably going to take the summer season with frames scattered everywhere to get the first hand contacts going. This will help the stores feel better about stocking them. These are still NEW TO THE INDUSTRY!

We're just glad we've finally gotten to the beginning.

sorry if this has been asked before, but has sprung been contacted by any of the skate manufacturers for using their chassis on the companies skates? I'm in the market for new skates right now but i'm still broke in school. I can't afford buying the chassis/boot/wheels/mounting price. I wanna try the sprungs so bad

Keith: How is it looking in terms of the junior model, still some time away?

And while we're on that, any plans for a lower/shorter chassis for goalies?

Tried my sprungs for the first time on Tuesday. Have to say its different, but I like them

Have been skating on Hi-Lo since inception circa 1993. The only thing I noticed is how much I push off my front wheels. Let me tell you, I almost bit it with the sprungs.

Here is my setup, pics soon to come.

Wicked Lite Boots, Sprungs, Bones Swiss bearings, Rink Rat Hornet (78a)
