I think the yellow laces fit the skate better, but the orange ones do look good. I'd probably sitck with the yellows, but i certainly wouldn't feel embarassed in the orange ones.

The pair of Easton 15's that I saw in San Diego had black frames with screaming orange rocker arms and laces. Smart guy dyed his laces with the rockers. One of the most custom setups I've seen, and I've seen some hot skates, for sure. I'm not sure what color his wheels were, but I think they were orange too.

Colored laces are for benders. Sorry had to say it just trying to keep roller respectable. Stick with White!

Roller is all about flash.

It lost its respectability a LONG time ago...

I concur.

But if you can find me white waxed laces that are the thinner polyester type as opposed to the thick cotton ones, I'll buy them. Until then, I'll stick with my yellow waxies that I've used since I was 7. Not the same set, obviously.

How many pr you looking for? I may have one set I can part with out of my private stock. Can't help you with Andover, don't sell it anymore. RDV may still stock Graf laces.

Hi Keith!

I'm from Germany and read this treat for over a year and through all of these 120 pages...I really want to try your sprungs...but two questions are still left for me

I want to mount them on my ccm pf8's...Is this a good idea? Is the sole to weak, or to concave or anything...?

I'd like to wait for your new/small A8's for my size, my pf8 are 6.5. So if I just can't stand it and order the A6 at least, can I swap them later or will those get new holes to drill, so I'd better wait?

The 6.5's you have are perfect for A6's. The med A8 will best fit 8-10.

thanks to The Stranger I got some boots a bit closer to what I skate in the rest of the time. And I finally got a chance to go play in them instead of rolling around a skating session. Weird, smooth feel. No big first step in them, but they seem quick enough to play league in. Still not replacing my Vanguards with Sprungs, but double convinced of how solid a product it is now after a day in the park.

While I was down in San Diego at the WIHA tournament I mounted A8's on new pairs of Mission Bosses and the plaid ones, I forget their name. I have pics in my phone but can't download them. The Bosses have black frames with white rockers, while the plaid ones have white frames with black rockers.

There were lots of Sprungs, including a bunch on the winning OC over 30 team which had some serious icons playing, one of whom broke the back off his Missions in the first game and cold-called a pair of lower end vintage Type M Mission/Sprungs, with pricepoint wheels and ABEC 3 bearings (all new), through the tournament. After the final, he said he was so inline (HiLo) set in his ways that he'd never change anything, but that if he was coming out of ice they were the ticket. He only scored very often.

Torspo/Sprungs are going on the website tonight.

And those are beautiful skates, SD. They will assert themselves. B)
