Not so. What kind of shaft was it?

There were a few shafts that were concave on one side, convex on the other and were RH or LH specific.

Like old school Bauer DET's or Bauer TIG/ALC shafts. I don't know what kind of shaft this person is talking about but it could have that shape to it.

I think Nike Ignite shafts were like that too.

A concave shaft can go both ways. The ones that were hand specific were convex on one side and concave in the other (Bauer DET, Nike Troika, Jofa 9500 etc) or the Inno Novius which had the spine on the backhand side.

I had one of the teal Bauers, decent shaft but I ended up selling it because I found something I liked a lot more.

Easton used to have a concave/convex shaft too, but I think it was either an aluminum or an early and not so good composite. I remember they used to have it at a LHS that closed down like 5 years ago.

Some people just don't have a clue and want you to think they do.

Nothing with a Nike logo qualifies as "old school."

The Z-Bubble is a tapered shaft, it just accepts standard blades.

Nike Quest 1, 2, 3 and Apollo II came in hand specific shafts too

Yep. I think Vapor 2s were like that as well

Yes they were.

And to switch it for an opposite shooter? Turn the thing over!

The first Nike shaft. Troika was the red/white one, Cirrus was the maize/blue one.

He must be thinking of the carbon tip. Those were convex/concave and hand specific.

I think it was mid level shaft. Honestly looked like a bauer DET knockoff but heck I wanted one.

That sounds about right. I remember that they weren't that expensive, but they only had them in righty, so I couldn't use one
