The D's not too bad. Although there are some areas that look like Afghanistan, there's some nice spots downtown. The Pontchartrain will probably be the host hotel because it's right across from Cobo.

i was hoping to go to a ONEGoal but this doesnt ook like my year since Michigan is a little to far for budget to alow hopefully itll come back to the east coast for the next one

I've never been to Toronto or Detroit. Sounds fun. In Boston I stayed at a friend’s apartment so I was lucky to not have to pay for a hotel room. I loved Vegas but I lost way too much money, inside and outside the casinos! I'm a little skeptical though about one day for the public at the same Detroit show.

Why would the show not be in mid-to-late April/early May?

New product would be shown for the first time at the NHL All-Star Game.

Said product would be refined between All-Star Game and show. Hype is built up as well, with endorsees probably using the product as the season winds down and heads into the playoffs (not that anyone will see it on OLN).

Product show for retailers in mid-to-late April/early May? as playoffs heat up and retail sales slow down.

Manufacturers place their orders with their Orient factories.

90-120 days later (September 1-15th), product ships to stores. Even if the product hits October 1, at least stores are selling it during peak season! Dating is anywhere from 60-120 days on booking...which is great because all stores have money in December and January!

Doing this would LIMIT the number of dealers that are bums and that don't pay their bills!!!!!

OK, I'll step off of my pedestal now...

Sept delivery is too late for my market. July and August are my peak months for equipment sales. Everyone has to have new stuff before Sept! All the camps are in July/Aug. Summer leagues for HS teams. Sept is way too late.

I'm not going to Detroit. Will there still be a Toronto show?
