Grave77Digger 1 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 http://www.peranis.net/prodHome.ihtml?sid=...chterm=mckenneyI own one of these and it seems to be a painted over name brand stick. I recently had the blade cutoff and put on a Warrior AK blade and im amazed at how lite this stick is... its actually way too lite. So anyway what kind of stick os this and would it be a bad thing to put something insnide the stick to weigh it down a bit??

ItalianSpartan 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 I wondered about that, I saw some XLites that weren't painted well that had the Response painted underneath.

LoXish 0 Report post Posted August 31, 2006 So would it be a bad thing to put water or sand inside the stick to weigh it down a bit? Would through the balance and weight distribution off, I'd think.

Jake 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2006 So would it be a bad thing to put water or sand inside the stick to weigh it down a bit? Yeah, because if it breaks you've got a hell of a mess.

DamnLocust 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2006 Water expands when frozen..just a thought. If you want to weigh the stick down a bit, you can cut it and add a butt end, and use tape to balance it out however you want it to feel. This is also good because you can add weight wherever you want, as opposed to putting it all at the bottom (making the stick blade-heavy). And you can remove the weight later if needed.
