Nike Bauer Supreme one90's

Ok....and so do I....and i can gurantee you with out a doubt that we had way more pairs than they did and again we had not near the issues. They are using most likely the Max Edge Boot Alignment tool and thats a great tool.....but..

Ask them to do the same thing with 25 pairs of any other skate and tell me they dont find atleast 60 to 80% of them having problems. The factories can only do so much and some times when they mount a skate they are measuring diffrent things in order to find the center of the boot.

That being said all skates should be done like Figure skates and have the blades mounted seperatly for the maximum benefit.....and seeing as you cant then a relalighnment is never a bad idea but that goes with ALL skates not just the ONE90

I took my skates to them and they told me that the left skate was perfect, but the right had 3 degrees of tilt to it.. he also said that they could heat up and move the heel as it is tilted on the boot... My next question is how will this process comprimise the boot itself?? if you can share I would appreciate it.. thanks,

I'm not looking to highjack this thread but I came here to post a similar thread and found this one.

Today I went to a hockey shop in Madison, Wisconsin to try on some one90's, and right off the bat I was warned about this particular skate. Buyers are returning them shortly after getting them. This has me looking at going with the Vapor XXX's instead. The Bauer skates were the best suited for my foot. I liked the feel of the One70's but the seller wasn't sure if there was a problem with the 70's and they had no knowledge of any "bad shipments". I even asked if it was possible that maybe they got a bad batch.

After reading this thread it sounds like maybe they had a bad shipment of defective skates. What do you guys think?

If this was a bad batch then is there a way to tell from looking on the skate if it's from a bad batch?

Make the extra effort to know what you're doing before posting. He's helping you out, showing you what needs to be done, and you cop an attitude and tell him to relax?

geezus!

(/outburst) sorry guys.

Quit being a whiny prick, prick.

On top of that.. last I checked, SEARCHING a forum before posting a new thread is common procedure in ANY forum.

It's not as easy as it may seem. If you Search for One 90 you get squat. Then if you finally find a thread, you have to weed thru so much BS it can take hours to find your answer. I see no problem with people posting, then those who know of a former thread, post a link for the seeker. Problem solved. No bashing, just help the poster.

BTW, I'd like to know who determined that it's a baking problem? Aren't Bauer dealers trained properly on baking? Jeez, it's not rocket science. What's the temp and minutes, that's pretty much it.

I haven't seen any problems on the 190's that have come thru my shop, nothing to start an epidemic.

I gave him a Google Search for ONE90 on MSH and he still was not satisfied.

I called a bunch of dealers that I know who can do it correctly and they haven't seen any problems. It seems that the problems are those who bake them longer, or have the person flex/walk in the skate.

If they feel like crap when I try them on should I even consider buying them? I've read a few threads and can't figure out the "moldability" of them.

It seems like nothing feels good on my foot out of the box though.
