Wow there are going to be some happy MSHer's, polar fibre shafts on the way, according to hockeymonkey.

Damn. I really thought I was going to skip this round of Monkey madness, and then they play the Polarfibre card. Merry Christmas to me, I guess.

Bad news for me... I don't need another shaft! My Ak-27 Nipple will be here either in the next hour or tomorrow, UPS's website has been waffling on delayed and on time just about every time I check. If the nipple grip and flex are good for me, then I guess I'll just be happy with what I've got.

TBL- PM inbound regarding trade.

Lang and Mission Pro 01-003 are up for trade or sale right now. Van Ryan is being considered.

TBLfan, whats the lie like on the Mission Pro 02-051, and the Mission Lang?

Lang is 6, maybe a bit higher.

Just putting this out there...

If anyone is interested in splitting a 6-pack of LH tapered composite and/or wood blades, and lives in the US (so I don't get raped by UPS cross-border), I'm your man.

I'm interested in the following patterns, in order of interest:

Modano

Laaksonen

Carney

McAmmond

Fata (W)

Avery (W)

Berry

Lacouture (W)

Sundstrom

Martin

The top few should all be closed mid curves with round toes and 5+ lies; later ones sacrifice one or more qualities to preserve the others.

I simply don't need that many of them, and since they pulled the tapered blade/shaft deal off the site, it simply isn't worth it.

You could also just buy those patterns and then punt them on to me if you didn't like them. Call it a safe option.

Cheers-

LG

After some consideration I´m trying to get my hands on a 6-pack of the Afanasenkov Warrior from Hockeymoney. Problem...I´m located in Germany and Hockeymonkeys ef´d up UPS shipping rates (+additional charges on my end) are a major problem. Will any of you regulars do me a favor and get a 6-pack for me, shipped to you? And then send them USPS to me? I would off course pay-pal you the Money in ADVANCE + will pay additional USPS international shipping once you know the rate to ship them forward to me. So if any of you feel like beeing nice around christmas time shoot me pm, please, please, please. Thanks!

Rahkshani pic fixed.

TBLfan--looks like the Mission Pro 01-003 is closest to a modano/forsberg clone, am I correct?

More like a less open Drury.

02-051 is 5.5

Edit: BTW I have two Mission Pro 01-003 blades, one is labeled 001 from the first go around with the pro stock blades.

Got all my woodies ....

The Walker is just pure evil ... it is like a Drury but nastier. Don't think i'll be able to use this with putting the puck in the roof.

The Boug..iniki... whatever his name is, is a pretty nice curve. Like a TPS Nash but with a lower lie.

Everyone know's the Boyes by now, and the Priessing is the tallest blade at the heel I have ever seen (i'd say only a select taste for this one as the blade is really long also hence makes the stick very blade heavy).

For anyone that asked I'd prefer to trade the blades I have that I dont want. But if I can't trade, I will sell them.

Price = half of two-pack which is roughly 22.50 + shipping. Not looking to make or lose any money on the blades. I'll have an idea what shipping cost after I sent rustpot's blade in a few mins.

Just got back form the post office, shipping was ~$4.25- slow shipped, $25 insurance.

Another $2.30 for the padded mailer, though I doubt the Lang would fit in the one I bought.

Luckily I had a box perfect for it that I saved from when I worked at Sports Authority(I think an UA shirt was in it). Had that box for a looong time, finally used it, haha. About $7 to ship but the darn thing weighs 15 lbs. :P

I need to get some heavier shafts, some of the blades aren't exactly light. I dont mind weight but I have to have balance, my heaviest standard shaft is a pro stock flyweight the other is a CS2 redlite!

Got mine in today. Lang, alfredsson and 2 yashins. Everyone has seen the Lang. The Alfredsson and the Yashins do have a finish, and it looks just like the blades on their website.

Yashin- basically a tame retail Lidstrom, the toe is almost the same. Picture a square toe that has the tiniest bit of rounding on the corners. The actual blade seems really thin. They even feel a little thinner than a CNT focus flex.

Alfie- looks like a drury clone that was wedged about 1/2" past where they normally curve it. There is a little bit of flat area on the toe. Other than that, nothin crazy.

I cant comment on the curves, as I am horrible at telling what they are until i actually play with them. Will update if anyone wants to know.
