The only thing I want to verify (if no one has already) is what the difference is between players' patterns if they're the same #.

I bought two different LH #14 blades, the 284 and the 297(Cole). #14 is listed as square toe, big heel curve, open face. I like them both, but these blades are very different from one another. The 284 is pretty close to a Lidstrom, but the Cole is damn near straight and has a little less wedge to it. Kind of reminds me of your custom Nike, mack, but LH. I'll try to get some pictures up later.

So, take the # descriptions with a huge grain of salt. They are at best vague descriptions, and at worst wildly inaccurate. I have not had the fortitude to try to get through to someone at HM who can hold these blades in their hands and compare them to known curves, and such a thing may not even be possible. It is an adventure. Good luck. I will probably order more, just to see how different the third #14 can be (wtf is Siganty?)

well one of the things I wanted to do in this thread was let people know what we got and what we're unhappy with so that maybe we could trade blades. We all know that finding someone at HM that can really help us find what we really wanted is about as likely as President Bush winning a third grade spelling bee.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll just go by what I think a player uses. I see they have Yashins and I may go with that since I seem to remember what his old Eastons looked like. I figure it's all a big gamble and I'll do what I can to get pics up of whatever I get, which sounds like it'll be Yashin and Alfredsson.

Is it called a Blake, or is it one of the serial numbers they have listed? If it was called a blake then they are apparently sold out.

yeah, if you call you can also get 1 tapered and 1 standard and get the $15 each deal but it doesn't work online.

Well they're out of the Alfredson as well as pretty much all the #7s so I added a Belak. I have a feeling more cancellation emails will be on the way.

I'll try to get pictures up later, but they have been pretty good on the descriptions. I got two each of alfredson and berehowski, both are slightly open heels. I just wish they listed the lie, both those and the Zubov #1 I got were sub 5 which is what I wanted, the (001) #1 appears to be closer to a 6, so i'll be sending those back. I also picked up a Lehtinen for the hell of it, odd blade, its probably 3/8" of an inch thick and less than 2-1/2" tall
