i overheard the same thing last night on, hodge and reda were saying how every team next year would have slimer fitting jerseys, no third jerseys and said that pants would go almost up to the armpits..

Pants up to the armpits would be a horrible horrible idea.

That would look super ugly.

Why even have a jersey then. Might as well use a poncho or something like that. haha.

I really hope they don't change the jerseys. Tight fitting jerseys are ugly. I like it when they're floating around a little. I don't want NHLers to look like fottball players.

Some jeyrseys are just great the way they are. I always thought the nicest one out there was the Blackhawks' home jersey, the red one. Beside my Habs jersey, it's the only one I wear, even if I'm not a huge Hawks fan.

I would hate to see the classic jerseys change. From the first moment I saw the new team Canada jersey, I hated them, and my guess is I will hate any tight fitting jersey that will come out in the next few years.

hopefully the league will adopt only the jersey's cut, and not their logo designers.

They are jerseys he did in his spare time, those are not the actual jerseys the NHL teams will wear next year. The only definite ones are the all star jerseys.

That sounds a little ridiculous as they could simply scale the size down a touch or slightly alter the spacing so that it could fit.

I found this on the sports logos/uniforms froum I'm a part of, it has some more quotes from the Sharks outing in the new jerseys and an intersting take on how CCM is being very hush hush about questions. My favorite quote comes via Mark Smith who had this to say:

I love the way jerseys like the Nike Swift and the RBK slimfit look. Then again, I've never had to wear them with pads so who knows?

Sabres cut of jersey with each teams own design doesn't seem so bad but if they are all cookie cutter style with each teams colors and logo than that's dumb. If some team wants all pink and they think that will sell their jerseys than that should be that teams decision. I heard Pittsburgh was moving to San Francisco....

this sounds like a marketing move, through and through.

change the sweaters if the players want the change. Don't impose some style change because some suit decides it would look better.

Not the same cut. Sweden wore regular jerseys in the Olympics then wore those pictured in international competitions afterward. It's just the look, not the same cut.

I think the stars jersey looks fine, and I will be very happy to see that the Bruins get some even more ugly jerseys.

I'm still unsure of this whole, every team having the same "look", I think the Sabres looks fine, but if every team has that look it'll just be over kill.
