tps shafts

Recommended Posts

ok, i'm looking for a nice shaft in a whip flex, and since i can't scrounge up the money quick enough and find an inno 300flx shaft, i've decided just to simply look around my place for a whip shaft and i came across a red lite and a tri core and can't decide between the two. what would you guys say is the better shaft, and the more durable shaft?

go with the tri-core, the shaft being a bit heavier isn't too big of a downside, because it'll make it easier to find a blade with good balance

I've always thought my Tri-cores were great. Never owned a Redlite, but did try a few out, just felt the Tri-core had a nicer feel in my hands.

Never tried a Red Lite but I have always loved the Tricores. They are a great shaft with exceptional durability and a good overall feel to them.

I always thought the Redlite was too small and boxy for me, and I loved teh Tricore. It had good balance, rounded corners, and had a bit of a wood feel, especially with a wood blade.

Redlites can come in pro-radious which is rounded corners and the standard square.

Not sure if you'll be able to find them, but at a time the Tri-cores were also available in Pro- Radius.

well, i dont think im gonna notice much of a difference between the two in terms of shot power since they both feel the exact same flex-wise. its just durability issues that i'm concerned with
