I have a friend who is in the market for new skates. About what time of year do companies introduce the new lines?

Anyone know any good shops in Iowa?

Spring, but you might be able to get the Ovys skates mid January. I don't know if they have changed their mind, but last time that is what the CCM/RBK rep told me.

SE is an 07 product, woody is out, not sure on the RBK.

if i remember right, i think our rep said they were scheduled to be shipped the 15th. or was that the day that the ONE90 sticks were to be shipped? or both? ugh.

the woody is already out, my LHS has it.

The SE won't be out till next year. I think the RBKs are supposed to come out in mid december. But that's what I remember(ie could be wrong) from reading on here.

My 10.0 SE's are susposed to ship immediately. They are part of the Sickick "program", to get the stick, you have to get the skates. As I understand there are limited quantities of both stick and skate and distribution is limited to 80 dealers nationwide.

Hey...I am planning on getting these skates as well, and greatskate told me December 10th for the shipping date. Where are you getting yours from? Is there some program that will include a free stick with skates purchase like they've done before? Just don't want to miss out on a promotion if it is indeed the case.

We have a few of the new Vector 10.0(ovechkin) skates in stock but we're not allowed to show them to any customers or sell any for another 2-3 weeks.

As far as all other brands, I would assume June.

I'm not aware of any promotion, but that doesn't mean one is not coming, they've been doing one every summer for the last few yrs.
