I should be getting the sticks this week. I will post pics when I get them. Not sure yet exactly what they cost yet, but the guy figured about 33.00 Canadian per stick. Yes they are sticks the same as the 9950 pmpx.

My 5030's were 44.99 each soo I think the 9950's would be more.

No canadian. I ended up getting them for 28$ each because they lost the first batch of mine and they took forever.

I have had 9950's done up with white shaft, red lettering, and black blade. as well as 7000's done up in the reverse red shaft and white lettering.

the 9950's your looking at 45$ a stick, but i got them for free, team paid.

the 7000's your looking at 37$ a stick. If you dont have your own pattern set up already i believe its an extra 75$ on top.

For colors and stuff I know sherwood has a goalie stick customizer on thier website, you can kind of get an idea what color combos look like.

My next sticks will be all black with orange lettering and lime green outline on the letters, they will be the same color combo as the warrior sticks.

Get to your LHS and ask about placing an order. You might run into people who say it can't be done...don't believe them and find a shop with people who know what they're talking about. It's usually a fairly painless process.

I have had 9950's done up with white shaft, red lettering, and black blade.

Is this an all black blade or a fade like the standard 5030s?

I was looking at the 7000 SOPs I did here for one of the guys. The stick is a black shaft with white lettering. The shaft and blade below the ringed tape is natural wood finish, no lettering overlay.

Anyone know how much cheaper it is to get SOP jr. sticks? Im looking at 9950's, and they arelong for a junior stick (Perfect size) and are whippy but not too whippy.

Any one know of any shops that carry pro returns of junior returns in the SOP sticks, I know sportchek does sometime, any where else?

I hate to revive an old topic, but I have a couple questions that I can't find elsewhere...I got into an arguement with a couple of the people at Great Skate who told me that Sher-Wood doesn't do custom orders, and walked-out with my questions un-answered. I pose them here:

1) Does Sher-Wood do a short-hosel, standard tenon custom blade?

2) What are the options on the custom blades as far as colors/graphics are concerned?

1) they do not do short hosel. Their "short hosel" is between long and short.

You can probably get colors and whatnot. Your options with TPS are more broad.

JR, off the top of your head what are all the options you could get with TPS? I'm thinking of getting tapered blades made up and they'd be the company i'd go with.

Choice of color, hickory or fibreglass hosel, choice of wrap (standard glass, glass with kevlar runner, graphite glass and that "Pro Stock" brown wrap. I've tried them all, currently on graphite glass, Bob told me it would be as stiff than double glass but lighter. He was right.

That sounds like what I'd get. Does that finish look different or does it just look like the old Easton custom pros?
