I have used the lidstrom and the jokinen and i like both but i use the jokinen because i find it easier to keep my slap shots down and it passes a little better. does anyone know if the weight pattern in the warrior is similar to the jokinen? and is the warrior standard replacement blade pretty good for durability, im looking for a new blade so any info would be helpful, thanks.

RBK Pronger. I'm not sure but it may have been renamed to Phaneuf.

That is square toed similar to a Lidstrom. The Bauer Kovalchuk might be a better option of a round toed blade for him.

I don't get what you're saying. He said hes looking for a lidstrom-like curve with a round toe, right? So I suggested the Pronger.

Go thru this string of posts again, please. The guy wants a Lidstrom-y curve but with a round toe. The Pronger is a Lidstrom-y curve but has a square toe, just like the Lidstrom.

It depends what you like about the Lidstrom, is it the openess? Because then a Drury will work much better than Jokinen. The Jokinen will also have more rocker than the Lidstrom, so that might play into your decision.

Maybe you can give the Jokinen pattern from Bauer a try, but it's not as open as Lidstrom curve.

P106 is probably the best fit in this case, good call.

Kovalchuk is listed as a 6, but I believe its closer to a 5.5. Having said that, I find the Lidstrom to be closer to 6 than 5, for whatever that's worth.

The pattern formerly known as Kovalchuk is now just the P91/P91A.

Didn't want to make a new topic just for this:

Seems like alot of guys on MSH are useing Drury'ish curves, which is a completely turnaround from the Euro-curves most use "over" here.

Know that the perception is euro's like mid/toe curves while

Northamericans like heel curves, just look at the NHL, but I've also read in a post once that the Sherwood Coffey pattern sells very well in NA.

Does any of the shop guys know what the selling ratio is for the various patterns at a LHS or onlineshop?

I.E. What are the most popular patterns based on sales records? (should probably be pattern vs. pattern within the same brand, and not all brands mesuared together, since some brands are more popular than others)

Uh, and regarding this topic the Rbk P32 Pronger is slightly roundish(looks like a roundsquare the one I have... lol), atleast not as square as the Lidstrom, so that make do the trick for you.

I believe they answered your question in another thread, and the Modo/PM9 won out.
