fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy, goaltending, stickhandling relay, etc. they score it by team and by individual, and then at the end it's won by either east or west.

Most lament that it's not based on the actual fastest skaters/shooters in the league, but only comprised of those in the actual all star game. but it's still fun to watch.

It was all downhill once they called Patrick Eaves, Patrick Evans during the Young Guns intros.

Yeah, that certainly wasn't a good start.

I appreciate creativity, but Christ, why weren't they shooting the puck in the Young Stars game?

Well...next year is Atlanta...so it may be half empty next year too.

2008-2009 in Montreal. Big Canadian crowd...part of the 100th Anniversary of the Habs. That will be a party.

MSH party in Hotlanta? I'll make some calls.

Hey the rebroadcast is on HDnet, I'll get a chance to see it all.

Some players actually turn down some events. They might have injuries or don't want to risk the possibility of any. Rolston might have turned it down for just that reason.

I think the fans should be able to vote which stars do what events. That way you have the known guys doing their known thing. I was watching the video of the red carpet entrance and Rafalski said he was stepping in because some of the guys didn't want to do it. Come on, Rafalski? Hardest shot?

It really wasn't good. I should have just gone to the gym instead.

You guys didn't miss much who didn't get it. It was the most boring skills event I have seen since I started watching hockey. And the crowd sucked to boot

Agreed there. Only two things pique my interst for a second...Chara walking into a shot and Cheechoo in the shootout.
