The cheap seats going for $60, the 6:30 start, and the fact that it's being held on a Tuesday didn't help attedence.

The events were pretty poorly organized and they had to go with the flow.

Im thinking it was "sold out". Just most fans in Dallas could care less about the skills comp or any of that business. Then again, they had technical difficulty and what not...it was boring with the long breaks inbetween events.

yeah, they made some bad mistakes, like at the end of the youngstars game, he said the west won 9-8 instead of the eat and he never corrected himself.

i miss the skills comp. because of practice. is the consensus that it wasn't worth watching? who won hardest shot and accuracy?

I thought the young stars game was a lot more exciting to watch then the skills part. It was like a really good shinny or roller hockey game. All offence and no one was really playing too seriouly. Some guys really stood out like Getzlaff. Seabrook looked horrible though.

Chara won the hardest shot with 100.4 miles an hour. Souray cracked 100 as well.

Eric Staal and Marian Hossa hit all 4 targets in 5 shot to tie for the win in the accuracy event.

The guy asked him if being in the All-Star game made him "squeeze his

stick a little tighter". Crosby's instantaneous reaction was hillarious.

If you have the thing on your DVR watch in slow-mo and you can see that

Crosby goes from charm to WTF for about a milli-second. Pretty funny.

the NHL put seats on sale to the public on the 13th...and via a presale on the 10th to others...

all the stories on the game kept referring to the fact it was sold out..when tickets were still available...

just picked up 2 platinum level seats for a client for under face value for tonight's game for a client...

more importantly...who was the one responsible for having the announcer say "It's a GOOD Goal" is it ever just a goal..how come when they missed did he not follow up with "It's NOT a GOOD Goal" Are there any bad goals in hockey? c'mon now...sounded like a damn Madden Game...Good!

Young Stars game = Booooring!

No one played defense, no hitting, no intensity. Just a bunch of talented players fooling around on the ice. Kind of like watching a talent-rich pick up game.
