Nintendo Wii

OK, so I finally picked one of these suckers up last weekend, and I'm not going to lie. This is the most fun I've had playing video games since I was around 7 years old. WiiBoxing is officially one of the most addicting games ever. Anyone else able to grab one of these things?

I picked one up a month ago or so. I love playing it, the only problem is getting time on it. All my non-gamer friends want to play it all the time.....

PS. Join Gamefly so you can try out all the games before you buy them! It has saved me time and money!

I've had it for 2 months or so. I wish school was over with so I could have more time playing it. I bought the game pass from blockbuster so I could rent a whole mess of games and decide which ones to buy. Rayman is whacky fun, I can't wait to try out wario ware.

If my dorm wasn't so small I would have brought mine to school with me, that and I don't need my drunken friends inevitably losing an eye via wiimote.

It begins and ends with Zelda for me. Sports is fun, but wow are some of their other games complete bunk. I also love how PS3s are rotting on shelves here and Wiis are nowhere to be found.

I have a question out there for everyone with a Wii:

How many of you have lost or broken a controller, or t.v or anything around the house from throwing it of frustration?

I saw a report on some news station a while ago and it was about people throwing the controllers through t.v's and out windows and stuff, just curious...

you have to be completely stupid and/or ignorant to lose control of your Wii controller.

i've broken a strap on one of my controllers, but never let it fly.

contrary to popular belief, you don't have to swing the Wii controller like a madman, it is VERY sensetive. you CAN play any game while sitting down and using simple flicks of the wrist.

don't believe any reports you see on news stations. remember the 'reports' of iPod headphones being dangerous?

Played some with my cousin around Christmastime, was pretty fun. Extremely sensitive controls, too, which can be good or bad depending on your personal preference for menu navigation and such. We also didn't break the strap; but i don't think you can break it unless you're swinging it too hard.

I want a Wii so bad, but they sell out in the first 10min every time a store in Boston gets them in. I think it would be great if when the Wii comes out with a hockey game if you could actually stick-handle with the wii remote. You could semi-practice dangling in your living room.

Of you could grab any old stick, a golf ball and semi-practice on the ground... lol.

i asked the guys at ebgames and gamestop and they say that there is no talk of a hockey game for the wii yet.

oh yeah, btw...the wii play game looks pretty sick. its got duck hunt, pool, ping pone, and 6 more games, plus a wii remote!!!

I bet the ammount of time a average to below average gamer spends playing Wii,PS3,360..ETC, you would be one hell of a hockey player.

What does this mean? Stop being lazy and get out there and play!

so when your bored at 2:00 in the morning go outside and play hockey?!?!

lol, i dont think that can happen. i usually dont play video games till its dark outside, or untill i am bored. i know what you mean, but you cant play hockey 24/7. i mean, i love to play some madden after a long hockey practice!

Fire up a golfball on the carpet in your room, hit a light and you are good to go. If you have a garage or drive-way there then becomes options to shoot.

just add the pad from the original world class track meet for Nintendo and a stick shaped controller and you're good to go. Or go play the real thing and keep virtual hockey tied to a handheld controller.
