Douche turns out to be her boyfriend. On top of that some drunk guy told me I have a fat nose last night. Great, there is one more insecurity to add to the list.

I enjoyed a couple pints of Smithwick's at an Irish pub here at home. Unfortunately, it was in between visiting hours for a friend's wake...then had leftover corned beef when I got home.

And I'm not even Irish?!

I don't know anyone that eats corned beef.

I was going to say the same thing.

Now, if you're talking bacon and cabbage, I am there, but corned beef, never saw it on any table back home...ever

The dark cabbage, with bacon, bisto and some ketchup, is good packing.

If you are looking for a horrible staple of a diet that makes it's way on to a dinner table, particularly at christmas in my mothers home, then I give to you, the Brussell Sprout.

Who the hell decided that should be a food should be shot on sight

Never had it as I won't taste a food that smells like farts whilst being cooked. I'll stick with broccoli and spinach.

You guys are knocking my favorite vegetables. If you're gonna knock something, how about that overrated tuber the potato.

Hush up now, I won't abide to this blasphemy.

Potato can be an appetizer (potato soup)

Potato can be a side dish (potato, potato salad, roast potato, mashed potato)

Potato can be a main course (potato casserole)

Potato can be a dessert (sweet potato pie)

Potato can be potent (Poitín, or potheen, however it has been anglicized, not sure on the spelling)

Not over rated, just perfect

I was in an "Irish pub" that had green beer on tap and Guiness in a can on the 17th. It was the only pub on the entire island, I think I see a business opportunity.
