You have to admit....in that fourth pic those skates are damn sexy.....they're probably some of the sickest skates I've ever seen.

I don't like the skates. I don't like the red holders, and I am not dying about the new vector look.

I liked the old Vector 4 look (the 04 model), after that, the look of the skate (not performance or anything) has went downhill for me.

Whereas Bauer has kept the shiny bells and whistles off their skates for the most part (apart from the translucent holders on the 70's and one90's

Yea those are definitely gold eyelets....I saw them before but didn't really think about them until someone else brought it up....thats kind of overboard haha.

The gold totally clashes with the rest of his ensemble though. If you're gonna make a fashion statement like that you should at least coordinate the eyelets with everything else.

I agree with Allsmoke, I like the '04 Vectors better as well.

best looking skate in the CCM lineup is the vector 8.0. They'd have to pay me to wear SEs, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing them otherwise.

I'm still a fan of the SE's with the Black holders. Didn't seem like he wore those too often this year though. Seemed like the majority of the time is was the white LS.

Gotta say Ovey is very creative in his attire. That is one of the reasons why I think he is good for the game. He gives hockey a pizaaz.... missing since Gretzky's blue holders and the 99s on his gloves. From the matching red laces to the holders to the red laces on his pants...I give him credit for being different.

By the way...those V10 gloves are nuts! I want a pair of those.

another thing that suggests the first pic of ovechkin(onfrozenblog.com) is not an actual game from the worlds would be the differences in jerseys. It is especially noticably the shoulder patch. Another thing, does anyone think that his gloves look a little like vapor XXX, with the swoopy lines and all?
