NBH 4 roll or sande max pro?

Recommended Posts

I haven't used either but I think the NBH 4 roll is one of the best looking gloves and I've heard alot of good things about them.

the NBH 4 Roll is a very good glove from what ive heard, i wouldpersonally recommend the Vapor XXX which are like $20 over your spending limit though

I have the NBH 4-roll, the Vapor XXX, the MIA MB22 and 33, and the CCM Pro Tacks gloves. Of all of them, the 4-roll is the best glove. In fact, it is the best glove I have ever worn (playing for 24 years).

I am currently on my 2nd pair of Eagle x50's, which I thought was the best glove ever and swore I would never use another pair. That was until I tried on the 4-roll gloves. They were the MOST comfortable glove I have ever put on, and being that I manage a LHS, I get to try on a lot of stuff. Go with the Bauers, you will not be disappointed.

would you guys say the NBH 4 roll is more comfortable than the NBH one90?

I like the feel of the 4-roll in the wrist and top of the hand area, but prefer the mobility and feel of the palms and fingers of the one90.

The 4 roll will fit almost the same as the old Bauer 5000 (and the SDP, BDPS,LDPS and whatever else this glove has been called the last 30 years) glove- very boxy and roomy. I liked the finger length- I have long fingers and these fit fine. I haven't used Sandes, but the ones I have tried on seemed quite nice. That said, the R8's mentioned by NTKT10 would be my choice.

I was thinking about getting some NBH Pro 4-Rolls. I am in Vapor XXX's right now. How would you say the 4 rolls fit compared to the XXX's? Also, how are the palms holding up?

i'm in xxx's right now and i love em, just looking to try something new. my eagle x6s didn't hold up very well and i think eagles are overrated and over priced. I don't really like the feel of the thumb on the r8s, i practiced in a teammates because i thought they were sharp looking gloves but couldn't get used to them. right now im leaning towards the 4 rolls simply because of availability, its hard to find sande's

I would say they are heavier than XXXs. They are bulkier, but the feel I have with the glove is reminiscent of the old BDPs from the Cooper days...the armourfoam gloves. They were my favorite..until the 4-roll. The palms are MUCH more durable than the XXXs. The durasoft palms are some of the most durable I have seen.

^^^ best post ever ^^^

I am currently in MaxPros and looking for a new pair. I was going to get another but they are very hard to find in my area. I fell in love with both the 4-Roll and the R8s. Its pretty much a toss up between them.

I can't vouch for the 4-Roll, but the XXXs are tops! And if the $100 is USD, then you should be able to snatch a pair online within your budget with some patience!

Totally, totally different. They are waaay looser, in fact I'd say they were probably the loosest I've ever worn. I prefer a tighter, more nimble glove. I'm currently in Vector Pros and I couldn't use something as bulky as the 4 roll.

yeah, the nbh 4-roll in 14" feels like an eagle in about a 14.5"

Very loose and very bulky... extremely nice palm though, the double palm is extremely durable and soft.
