Sidney Crosby using Vector Pros?

Recommended Posts

i just wonder why they let him workout with a pro team when hes not elegible for the pros yet?

if that was basket ball, he would have to sit out the rest of his amateur carrer

It's better than the NBA letting Nike and Addidas run the camps and take care of the kids under the table.

Crosby's agent is from CA and has connections with the Kings. Most of the other prospects in that camp are represented by the same agent.

If GM has a source for that, he may know better than I.

Graz,

YES, I have a VERY reliable source within the industry. I have been told that he has signed a deal with CCM/Reebok for everything except stick, until his SW deal expires. He will be THE highest paid player to endorse any hockey product(s) in the World when the deal happens. I am not sure when the deal will be announced, however, I was told that he will be the first to wear the skate. That is all I can say for now.

Yes but he is wearing a ccm helmet and gloves. Maybe he didnt get his skates in yet.

That could just be because he has to wear a CCM helmet and gloves when he's playing with Rimouski due to CCM's deal with the CHL.

I think someone said earlier that maybe his skates weren't ready yet...that would make sense. There is an article about him in USA Today and there was a picture was from the World Championships and he was head to toe Bauer... sounds cool for him

He was head-to-toe Bauer because BNH is the official sponsor of Hockey Canada.

Well, he was head to ankles because BNH sponsors Hockey Canada.

He wore Bauer skates because he liked them.

;)

Reebok and hockey dont go together, Reebok doesn't sound like the type of company that would be getting into hockey. Guess it's possible though.

It is, but Reebok just doesn't seem like a hockey type company

And Nike wasn't before they bought out Bauer. They're involved in every other major sport and you have to move into new markets to expand your business.

But not as large as CCM in Goalie gear imo, and jofa and ccm are more popular to people hands down then KOHO, even though KOHO makes some nice stuf, in Player gear.
