Yes. As explained in previous HM threads. A few years ago, when getting back into puck, I ordered all my gear head to toe from there. Never saw a package for over a month. Had to call them and tell them to send the damn package, which was all boxed up and ready to ship, just not actually shipped for whatever reason.

Be wary of Californians involved in hockey. :lol:

I have never had a problem with HM. In my experiences shipping has always been prompt, and customer service has been great.

In store service at HockeyMonkey(HawkHockey) is lame. Not the friendliest people at all.

I have to agree with that to a point....they always seem to have new guys working there, so everytime you go you deal with a different guy. When Kelly was there I would usually just deal with him but now that he's gone it's awkward everytime I go in there.

Never had any problems there. Staff is very helpful and know their products well. Actually, I played against some of those guys in college. I have ordered online with no problems several times.

Going there today to try on some gloves and shins.

Oh, yeah BTW you should beware of Californians and hockey...For more info check and see where the Stanley Cup is.

I ordered an "Pro Stock" HC 95 helmet and got it and it wasn't a pro stock. I ordered it only for the pro stock padding (the only difference) so I sent it back and they charged me a restocking fee.

in their defense they let you know that a restocking fee may apply.

I've had issues with them in the past but normally if you talk to a manager they will help you out, they're better than HG but not as good as the smaller guys(IW, Epuck and EWH).

You can't defend false advertising so they should have stuck the re-stocking fee up their ass. I avoid this place and Hockey Giant at any cost unless it was absolutely necessity that forced me to order something from either store. Not worth the hassle and insane shipping charges.

i've never had any problems with their in store service. they're pretty cool whenever i go there. maybe because i go there enough where they recognize my face?

i've only ordered one thing from them online and it came with no problems.

Never had a problem in store or online. I know what I want when I buy equipment so I really don't need any staff help. Bought skates from them yesterday and they gave me a discount without asking for it.
