Quick question to anybody in the know. Are the numbers on these new jerseys going to be stitched on or heat pressed??

I do believe they are stitched.

Maybe it's the roller hockey in me but I don't think the Islanders jersey looks that bad when it's actually on Ricky. The on the beach picture really does look like a bad wedding photo or something though.

Is there some sort of new system?

Forget it, just read that they're screened Twill names and Heat pressed #'s?

Sounds pretty cheap to me.

Yes he did, but that mask looks new, you can't see the Johnny Canuck on the sides (you can see a little bit more of the right then the left) so it may be a new design.

The mask may be photoshoped since I saw Luongo wearing his last year's mask (the Vintage one) on the ice yesterday. He still wears his blue/green/white pads also.

Usually, he wears his new stuff when he gets it. Garon was wearing White, Navy, Orange RBK pads (he'll be backing Roloson in Edmonton) so I guess that means Edmonton is back in Navy and Orange. So if Garon had new gear, I supposed Luongo should have gotten his new stuff too since he's at the top of the list at RBK.

CBC aired something earlier where they had a Leafs jersey drawn out based on the information they have recieved. Can anyone of our inside sources please, and I mean please, tell me this is bogus and nothing like the true jersey.

If that IS the Leafs jersey...We won't hear any "the logo is too small" complaints.

Heatley and Spezza were wearing them in full gear in the clip the TSN showed. I think there was black on the sleeve as well...which, against the black b/g may be what makes the sleeves look odd in that pic.
