Ponty - S17 is not white and blue - that was reflection off the ice. It's chrome.

Nope the s17 logo was white and blue. Svatos stick was all black with Easton written is silver. I was very close. Probably a custom job?

The grip supposedly will go back to the feel of the Gold Synergys, which I think is awesome news.

As far as warranty, all I know is that it will have the system of printing the bar code on the stick

I hope they put on Z-Tac for retail, but I know they won't.

Wondering what the concept is too. Whatever it is, I hope it works well, but doesn't compromise durability.

I believe the last time they used Z-Tac was on the '02 SyNergys, so it's been 5 years. They may have been in on '03 but I'm not sure.

This might be as stupid question, but oh well... Many people have seen it on here and yet nobody has been able to notice the new concept or wont post it. It obviously doesn't affect the looks that much then. Just can't figure out what they've done to it. :(

I should have my hands on one Monday. Would I be allowed to post pics? I'd like to get it out to the public but I don't want to step on any toes... I have also heard that there is some purple thrown in there as well?

thats what i saw, and the "easton" part of the shaft was like that too. im guessing they have custom colors since someone mentioned malone had a yellow one?

I'm out of the shop until Sunday. The S17 stamp was foil, I think. I can't remember now 'cause I'm exhausted from selling 7 days worth of product in 3 days this week. I'll ask my rep again, too. He's local.

BTW, this stick is not about to change the game or anything. Like JR said, the reps have asked us to not post pics or get too specific on the product, that's all.

...they just might be at local rinks already. I've bumped into a bunch of Sabres over the last couple days at the rink - a bunch of them carrying sticks or skates or other random pieces of equipment. I've kept my eyes open, but haven't seen anything new - and I don't exactly think that asking about yet-to-be-released gear while having a casual chit-chat with a pro is something that could be considered "couth".

Yeah, the S17 and the Stealth logo on the front of the blade was foil. The rest of the stick was blue/silver.

Exactly - once this stick hits training camp, it is fair game.

Hello Easton freaks!

I know this questions is slightly off topic but I need your advice.

My LHS offered me a Stealth (06/07) for half the price because they can't deliver the Synergy ST I ordered some weeks ago. :(

Since I never had problems with the durability of my ST sticks I'm wondering if the Stealth (06/07) is as durable as the ST? Any suggestions?

Is the switch from ST to Stealth something you would do for 50% discount when durability is an issue?

That's a good deal from your LHS on the Stealth and I would take it in a heartbeat. No, it's not as durable as the ST (not much is though) but it's the one Easton stick I'd use.

I have found my CNT stealth to be the most durable high performance stick that I have used and i have tried a fair share of high end sticks. I don't think it's as tough as an ST, but for the price you are getting I would go for it. The performance should be a bit better as well.

My retard friend is intent on telling me that there is a Stealth S11 and it's out right now. He said the owner of Total Hockey came out himself and said that the new high-end stick is the Stealth11 and I know that's not the case but I want to see if there's any truth to a Stealth S11.
