I'm certainly interested in this stick. This might have been discussed but is it a new line stick or a replacement of a current line?

I cant believe that Grazstrom still says Bo yah, what a loser. Anyways, i'm glad that easton has figured out that in general people dont want to pay over $200 for a stick just because it has holes in the shaft or "spyne" technology in the blade. Sticks should have extended warrantys over $200. I'm curious to see this new tapered design that everyone is describing. I was also shocked to see 3 flyweights in someone's possession. I've still got one but its the wrong flex for me......

A/Gs were crap. Once they put tips on the stick, Easton set it up to fail. That and the sticks had the diameter of a broom handle.

I like the custom TPS'. Close to anything in retail or something you came up with yourself? Kinda Easton GBII Gretzky-ish looking.

Didn't that have sandpaper coating on it? Best shaft Bauer has ever made is the DET.

Yes, that whole line of Vapor shafts had the sandpaper feel. They also had the LH or RH models as well because of the concave feel. Those were out around the same time as the harpoon blades. Remember them?

Yup, the hand-specific sticks started with the DETs. As far as the Harpoon system goes...that was maybe outdone in craposity by the Locjaw system.

very cool. just upset about the blade patterns :/

Agreed. *sigh*

I guess it'll be Forsberg which I'll use.

i'm about to break down and settle for forsbergs/forsberg clones also...too damn hard to find a curve i like in 4.5-5 lie.

Do you like heel curves?

The LocJaw was an interesting concept to say the least. Certainly the result of someone thinking outside the box. I still have one of the wrenches in my toolbox in case I come across one. A few years from now we'll be looking back at the O-Stick and laughing (not that it hasn't already started).

I actually sold 2 of them too. I had three that were 110ish flex but those are only good in roller hockey (for me) and it's too hot to play roller down here. So now I'm down to 3, one for roller if need be and 2 for ice. I just wished they still looked that good, damn these mission graphics!

And yes, JR is the king of the flyweight.

I got the pattern when I was on my A/G 7000 buying binge. It was an Easton Pro Stock, John McIntyre pattern. Ended up in an upstate NY shop when he was playing with AHL Syracuse. I closed up the face and sent it off to TPS years ago. I have them in VDS as well.

I can't wait for the 85 flex S17... It's gonna be a long wait for next season.

its probably going to be a 80 flex. imo

Agreed...that 100 flex is longer and has a bit of flex on it...
