Looks like Ovechkin ditched the 10.0 for the U+ today. Maybe he thinks it will break him out of his scoring slump haha

he just used the u+ plus for the warm ups and a little during the begging of the game.

anyone notice this..

sergei kostitsyn using his regular 4k helmet plus oakly visor as he was all season.

Then after being crushed by aaron ward in the second period he goes back to the locker room as if he's hurt and then comes out with a brand new combo which he hadn't used once all season.

who cares, where'd he got it.

he got two assists after :P

also it even says his number on the back.

[Timmonen] was trying them earlier in the season but switched back to Warrior not long after. Also had a brief stint with an SE, which I figured was Coburn's because it looked like it was 3 feet too long for him, and Coburn was hurt when Timonen was using them

I remember exactly when he tried the SE. Very brief, as in, not even a full game and he was back to using his Warriors.

It looks like Timmonen has been staying with the TPS sticks, which makes me psyched to no end.

Yeah, Savard used the U+ skates for a short blip during the season too... Then he switched to 10.0's...

Savard also sported the NikBauer One95's for a few game here and thwere if I remember correctly! :)

Savard uses different sticks for home and away, as Don Cherry was pointing out the other night. He uses a U+ at home and a Mac Daddy on the road if I'm not mistaken.

The black strip on the bottom of his blade, is that just no tape? anyone know I have seen a few guys with this.

Most likely it's just the blade showing through, a lot of guys cut the tape along the bottom of the blade.

electrical tape? alot of inline guys do that

NHL guys don't. Lots of NHL guys (or their eq guys) go back and cut the bottom out with razor blades.

seen a guy do it by having a strip of tape, taping the stick, then pulling the strip to tear the normal tape job. thought it was an interesting way to do it.
