Custom Easton Blades - Questions

Anyone ever ordered them? me and my buddy are looking for some customized blades in a Lidstrom pattern. Im guessing there is a minimum of 6? just looking for the cheap woodys, they are usualy about 17.00 in Canada.

Since when does Easton have a custom pattern ordering system? And why don't you just buy some $17 wood blades in the Lidstrom pattern if that's what you're after?

nah well we were thinking that it will be cheaper if we get them in "bulk"...and we want them saying "cheese" instead of Lidstrom. we have been calling them cheesestroms for quite some time now

just get a mailing label, write "cheesestrom" on it and slap it on your helmet, making sure to get it crooked and wrinkled. all the other kids in your learn to play class will look up to you then.

Go through Christian. They have a wonderful custom blade program. Minimum order is 6, turnaround time was 4 weeks for me.

i think i might put up a huge banner on the side of my home arena letting everyone know how good i am...and the blade pattern i use

It's not that we're grumpy. It's just that everyone knows that Easton doesn't do custom shit. Ever.

1. You aren't going to get customs for anywhere near that price, you're looking at $30+ per blade for customs.

2.If all you want is a custom nameplate, buy a stencil kit.

Six is not "bulk" for customs, it's the absolute minimum for Christian and Sher-Wood won't even consider it.

easton will do your customs but as people before have said its really not worth the price unless you use a pattern that you cant get anywhere. eastons custom blades also generally suck, they screw up more of your blades than they get right. ive even seen them do a guy's pattern backwards i.e. lefty instead of righty. stores have seen this and tend to shy away from custom orders with easton because they get stuck with the blades if they come out badly. not to mention their turnaround time is ridiculous takes forever to get your blades. go with tps they make the best custom wood blades around. you really dont need custom blades, but you if feel the need, tps is the answer.

I will go against the grain and advise you to go ahead and get customs for these blades. Companies may see the request come in and go "What, are these kids retarded? Oh man I bet they are...crap." Then you'll get a discount out of guilt and possibly because of a tax break for the company.
