im looking for a light and flexible pair of pants that are good for skating.

i don't necessarily care about protection. i just want the best performing pants.

any suggestions?

A little confused by the question...players perform, not pants. What specifically do you want? Most lightweight? Most comfortable? Price?

We like to help...but need to know criteria that a pant can provide. Pants just don't provide performance.

If you don't care about protection, how else can a pant perform? They protect you, that's all they do. If you want light, get a mid level or cheaper pair of pants. If you want something expensive and light, get a girdle.

tblfan; you said that they (One90) have great protection as well in a post early on if I remember. So it's a winner all around.

The One90s are incredible pants. If you're interested in getting yourself a girdle, Tackla's 4000 Air is probably the best on the market.

Yes, I was iffy about the tailbone protection when I got them(coming from 692s) but I haven't had any issues. The only thing I don't like is the oversized belly pad.

my vote goes for the 692 tacks. they're a bit heavy, but nice and protective and extremely comfortable.

also they have a really nice liner that keeps you warm in the winter.

edit: oops i meant 692, not 652.

I had the one90s for a while, fit good, and were comfy, mobility was great the first time i used them.

right now im using my old vapor 10s, i think i'm going to give the 9ks a try to see if i want those or to go back to the one90s

ya i know the player performs, but i guess what i was trying to ask is what are the most flexible and lightweight pants out there.

i saw the one90s...looked pretty nice

anyone tried the mission fuel 120s?
