R2 XN10, Int- shaft- What blade fits?

Recommended Posts

I picked up a R2 XN10 cheap of the net, I've broke to many sticks already this season... I read great reviews on it so I went ahead and bought one. I have a few of the Crew Blades and I was really liking their performance and they are very durable for the outdoor surface I am playing on.

The problem, it was not labeled as Tapered in the description... I know some shafts come tapered and non tapered versions and I am unsure if this is the case? Also, I was under the impression that most INT shafts fit senior blades, which is not the case for this shaft, unless of course it is a tapered shaft. Or does this Int shaft only fit Junior Standard blades. Every intermediate shaft I have seen that only fits junior is normally labeled as such as well.

My question is what blade fits an R2 XN10 Int shaft? I don't want to spend money on a tapered blade if it only fits a junior standard size...

Man, I miss having LHS nearby... the south really sucks when it comes to hockey... but its growing in this area.

Thanks in advance.

whats the difference between buying a stick thats is supposively an ops and buying the same stick except the shaft and blade are not together. Example- the one90 and 0ne90 tapered shaft and blade.

is the quality or feel different when bought seperately?

There isn't any difference..

p.s. The one90 is a standard shaft.

Give them a call, and see if they're getting anymore in.

Alright, I probably will, I was just curious because I had heard some good things about it. Are there any major differences in the R2 and the Redlite XN10? Also is there a difference between the R2 Control and the R2 XN10 or are they the same thing?

R2 XN10 is the tapered version of the XN10

R2 Control I believe is a version of the XN10 with more fiberglass for extra durability (although I broke mine after a couple hours)

I have a couple Int. R2 XN10s... I've been using the XXX-lite woody in there, works well for me. It takes a bit of forcing to jam it in... possibly some sanding down on the corners of the hosel will allow for an easier fit.
