That was one of their worst performances I have seen in a while. They generated very little offense and their defense was horrid.

first he took a knee on knee that he had hurt earlier, left but returned then he was standing around at the blue line and some shmuck comes up out of no where and skates right into the back of him, shoulder to the back of the head. Hossa basically does a full flip before landing on the ice and lieing there for a few minutes. Left holding his head..

looked pretty accidental/incidental to me. He wasn't cut that badly and if for some reason he doesnt return this game I'm sure he'd play tomorrow.

Injury bug keeps trying to get them down but the Pens keep rising to the top.

Accidental contact with Dubinsky. Classy act going over to Malkin before the start of the third and tapping him on the shoulder or whatever he did.

If you can find a replay, it almost looks like Dubinsky kind of reaches down to pat Malkin after they get untangeled and the puck moves away.

I agree on Dubinski. Completely accidental and a class move on his part to check on Geno later.

Disagree on Crosby 'faking' the high stick. Replays clearly showed he got hit in the mouth. His mouth guard had a tape mark on it for chrissakes. :lol:

I did think it was funny tho that they played 'Holy Diver' on the PA system in the Igloo. Maybe it was for Avery.

pierre mcguire actually apologized to crosby in the post game interview because the replays showed that the stick hit crosby in the teeth/mouthguard - i did think it was silly that they didn't call the crosschecks though

You could tell right off the bat that it was an accident. Dubinski right after he realized he stepped on him he like checked to see if he was ok with a little tap. Very unfortunate that it happened however it was really relaxing to here that he just need a couple of stitches and came back. Should be a really good game tomorrow. Any predictions? I got the Pens winning 4-2

I hope I'm wrong but I think the Rangers win this one in their building. Sean Avery was uncharacteristically quiet today & I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he was a major pain in the ass next game.

Well either way I think the will be on their way to securing the division for the first time since 97-98 and winning the conference for the first time since 92-93. Which would be awesome but the Stanley would be better lol
