Perhaps I'm watching a different vid, but I didn't see you hitting a kid over the boards, rather a kid trying to hit you, except you ducked (which is illegal) and so he went over the boards.

Ive been looking at a few materials, but that looks like the puck moves over it really well.

I bought natural colour, in 2x4 and 4x4 peices, but I would say to spend more and by bigger peices because some of my peices have cracked where I glued them together.

I think the thickness was .250 but Im emailed them and told them what Id be using it for..

Right...In any case, I think you should have given it a better description...Something like you checked him over the boards while scoring on the opposing goalies net, something more realistic.

For those of you talking about Culver, the rink with windows is an olympic size rink. The ice sheet is actually much better than the nhl size, since they keep it much cooler now... Its much faster than the main rink. Here is a link to some highlights from the past season. Gerths apparently is commited to Notre Dame. He is currently a junior:

This are videos of the Spring AAA team my son is playing on in Saint John, NB. Peewee major age birthyear 1995. We are from Maine, but this is the closest hockey for us. My son scores a blister goal from the point just inside the blueline at 1:24 in the 1st video, can't remeber how far into the 2nd video. Kinda blurry, but I don't work in Hollywood. :-) The puck goes in top-shelf even though it's hard to see from the videos. The kids like to watch them so I do this for them.

Just a large piece of plexiglass I obtained from work. I spray it with silicone spray and rub it in with a towel also.
