Dolomite 2 vs. Dolomite 2008

Recommended Posts

To start, I've searched plenty for this and haven't been able to find it, if you have a link, please provide and don't flame me!

I am going to purchase a Dolomite shaft but was wondering what the difference was between the Dolomite 2 and Dolomite 2008? Is there any difference with the two? I want a grip stick, but from the research I've done it seems they are the same.

Thanks for the help.

On a similar note, I see there's a Dolomite GT and a Dolomite TP shaft. Any differences?

To be fair, there's never been anything new about a Warrior stick other than its graphics. The Dolomites are 15-year-old sticks.

the 08 dolo nipple grip felt a lot grippier than the 07 one i have

i don't know if they actually did anything but other than new graphics and the kovalchuk curve, nothing

they did get rid of the huge LIE decal on the blade

Is Warrior even capable of making a new stick? I have yet to find out. And the Kronik doesn't count because it is basically an Inno True-1 with some of the back of the blade cut out.

I think it's replacing the Robitaille.

I don't count those as sticks. They're pieces of crap. Best stick they made was the Dolo, and thats only because, as mack said, it's a 15 year old stick with new labels.

It is, it's almost identical to the Bauer P88 pattern.

Is that such a bad thing?

We got our Innovative account around 1998. Hadn't really seen many in our area before.

Any site with some history of Inno "PRE-1998"?

Not at all. I only stopped using them after acquiring some S17's. Tried a lot of other sticks to match the performance of the Dolo. S17 fit the bill for me.

Inno pre-1998 (I'd go so far as to say 2000) sucked hard. I got one of their first ones, the PF1000, and it was a godsend if they didn't snap in their first couple games let alone shift.
