Obsessed 2 year old Hockey Player video

Recommended Posts

You're joking, right. So the kid created his own myspace page?

It's called a scrapbook. You write things for your kid in the first person. It's been done for ages on paper, this is the digital age. Hence, Myspace.

Get a grip dude, you got a 2 year old having a blast playing hockey, that's what counts. You act like this guy's dad is just grooming him to sell him to the circus.

Sorry, I don't recall my folks ever publishing my scrapbook.

That was great.

I *hate* to sound like a mom, but I guess it comes with the territory...

HELMET

HELMET

HELMET

Just silly to put the kid at risk like that.

That would explain the angry tone in all of your posts.

Nah, that was NESN screwing up their video feed tonight.

Nice to see a parent trying to put their kid out there to make a buck. Pretty sad, to be honest with you. But then, they tossed a Rodman jersey on him so we can see where the folks heads are at. Over/under on when the kid develops a drug habit: 13.

Cut the bull man, it's just a parent showing everyone how proud he is of his kid and why. I'm sure you'd do the same if you had one.

Thats Awesome. My kid is pretty similar but I have been pretty lazy about getting him to skate. Inspires me to spend more time playing hockey with him! Where is there a roller rink near hummelstown?

Sure, I'd absolutely create a myspace page and upload videos of my kid. Yup, that would be first on my list.

I know friends who have created pages for their kids to keep distant relatives in touch with what their up to, as much as there are pushy parents around you can't tar everyone with the same brush.

At least the kid looks to be having fun, at the age he's at it doesn't suprise me at all the their filming his escapades, alot of parents like to film their kids when their at this "cute" age and everythings new and "adorable."

man that kid is a good skater for a two year old. I wish I started skating at two. Hope he still loves the game when he's 12 and then 22 cause if he does in like 20 years we're all going to be watching the NHL and going, I saw that kid skate when he was 2.

I didn't mean exactly with a myspace page. Just you'd do anything to show the world how proud you are of your kid and will do it the way you best knew how. Plus like Pantherfan has said, family and friends would want to see how the kid's doing. No need to be bitter about it.

If I had a prodigy in my house I'd probably showcase it somehow. Not for money, just because if you got a kid with crazy talent then you'd want to show them off. Not much wrong with that I don't think.

Are you kidding me...wow...not to be that bad parent but I sure as hell would be throwing a bucket on my two tear old tearin around on blades.

First thing I noticed as well. That's extremely irresponsible not to put a helmet on the kid.

I don't know why, I remember first learning to roller blade and ride a bike without helmets. That's a sign of the times, putting protective equipment on a kid to go out to the sand box. Calm down.

Are you sure you wouldn't sign up for a website just to pretend you found the videos?

Going out to the sandbox, and going out on a concrete floor with wheels under your feet are two pretty different things. Guess why helmets were invented? Because people fall down and crack their skulls open, genius.

Maybe while we're at it we can do away with car seats do. I mean really, it's a sign of the times. Strapping a child safely into a vehicle so he can't accelerate through the windshield like a bullet...calm down.

Sure, compare roller skating to riding in a vehicle, nulling your own comment the way you did to mine. My point was that the kid is clearly supervised and while accidents can surely happen, I don't think we need to be calling child protective services over a kid without a helmet.

Haha, what does it matter if the kid is supervised? If he falls and splits his skull open it's not going to matter if he's "supervised" or not.

I'm not comparing roller skating to riding in a vehile. I was simply trying to point out how ridiculous your comparison between roller blading and playing in a sandbox was.

The roller rink he is playing at is the Susquehanna sports center. The video is cool but really weird since that kid and I live in the same town and if I saw right from the background of parts of the video he lives up the street in the same neighborhood.

Dude the kid is 2 years old his skull is even completely formed yet, if I were his parents I would have one of those strapped snuggly around his noggin insuring he would be able to help me retire early lol :)

lol, thats a little messed up, but i'm gonna let him get away with that, and chalk this one up to just being a proud dad. I would be too.
