Selanne's Stealth

I saw that too, pretty big plug there. I can't believe that he'd only have two sticks though. It seems like they are becoming more widely available to NHLers, just not many have switched over, but I could be wrong after all he does only have two.

I caught three plugs so far. Selanne's used just about everything this year, no surprise he's trying the Stealth.

Ya know I've never heard any telecast mention any other brand besides Easton. Even the Wings local telecasts talk about Synergies and Si-Cores but if someone's using something else, they'll just say they switched to another stick but not mention it specifically.

They often use Synergy as a generic term too.

I have heard ESPN broadcasters go "A Sicore SyNergy Slapper" and things to that effect. I believe because it is so widely used, (the syNergy) and was the first WIDELY used OPS sticks. Its like somebody saying that they are making a Xerox rather than a copy

i thought a plug was a dummy

but does easton pay for this?

You dont pay for a plug, but there could be some under the table money, who knows, maybe mr. hughes is putting some money up to mullet head over at ESPN, the same person who said that the Rangers would dominate the East last year

Ya, It seems like they used Synergy much like Kleenex. That's got to be good for Easton though.

It's kind of ironic that he's using a Stealth seeing as how his scoring touch has been so "stealthy" this year. No points in 18 games now...that's embarassing.

At least some announcers can talk inteligently about the sticks. Brian Hayward the ducks color guy can't go 5 minutes without making a comment about how "those $300 composites" are so unreliable and the root of all evil. Of course I'm exagerating somewhat, but anyone that has seen a duck telecast will know what I'm talking about.

Now that some other guys are starting to use them does anybody know when other team w/o "superstars" will be getting them? Like Buffalo for example. If a guy like foot uses one I see no reason for guys like Drury and Briere not to be using them. The sooner the Sabres get them the sooner I do. Thanks

They may not like/want them so who knows. Assuming that the rumours of more people using orange Synergys than actual Si-Cores is true, odds are they'll just be using Stealth graphic Synergys.

I already heard the number of true Stealths in the NHL and it's below 10.

As far as I can tell the Rolston AND Morris are "real" Stealths.

I'm going to assume one's not Morris but his pattern's still shmoove.

No seem on the Morris and its lighter than a regular Synergy. Plus it has "Therma Tac" what ever the heck that is.

Awesome. Is it almost at the "too light" point Ponty?

I have not used a Stealth yet so I am not the best judge ...

Its lighter than the orginal TPS Response but better balanced. I think this may help the to light thing.

The stick's not a true OPS...

I don't think Rolston and Morris was on the list I got.

Actually it should be pretty hard to spot out once you know what to look for...
