Why? He makes more money with less headache as a player agent.

I still think Bobby Orr should have been the new head of the PA when Goodenow "resigned."

For the good of the game! ;)

Alan Eagleson for president

No dirt, but, I don't think he would've been the solution in replacing Bob.

I think Paul Kelly has been a step in the right direction, but, we'll see. He will need to show that he can be the "puppet" that the players want (which they didn't have with Saskin) while still maintaining his own agenda in some ways.

If you say so.

For the good of the game! ;)

Uh-oh....got some Bobby Orr dirt too? ;)

Tuuk should really go out on their own and eventually go on every companies boot. Kind of like Microsoft is on every PC. Those Tuuk Lightspeeds are great. I don't care what skate i'm on but those are my holders.

^ That's exactly why I can't imagine Bauer ever letting other companies use it. Tuuk holders are so widely preferred over every other holder that they become a selling point to Bauer skates over other ones. Knowing that you'll have to buy new holders and get them changed if you want Tuuks has to make you lean toward buying a Bauer skate to save yourself the trouble.

That's exactly correct. If you were NBH trust me, you wouldn't be selling to other manufacturers.

Hey, I've got a pair of Clear's in 270 which is a cross for the 272 now a days. Anybody interested?

That's the way the world was in the '80's! Tuuks and ICM's on both SuperTacks and Bauer Supremes. Ah, the good old days.

As I recall, CCM had the SLM blades on their skates, not ICMs.

Which 3 tower white holder had the maple leaf logo on the back?

I could have sworn I a white, 3 tower, maple leaf logo holder on a pair of Bauer Supremes in 1984. I know I had a pair of SuperTacks with black Tuuks on them from around 1981.

I guess I fugured that Tuuk was independent from Canstar or Baure back in the day, and that Skate manufacturers had been putting Tuuks on a viriety of brands like Daoust, and even Lange's.

Somebody in the know help me to get the Tuuk independence story accurate.

Tuuk had the maple leaf (later updated to Canstar leaf) on the rear tower, but, so did SLM.

Tuuk was independent - but CCM had their own holder (SLM) and was a division of SLM.

Tuuk/ICM supplied all of the Canstar skates (Bauer/Cooper/Micron/Daoust/Lange)

ICMs did not have a maple leaf on them.
