How much playoff hockey do you watch?

Recommended Posts

Title says it all, how much playoff hockey do you watch? I'll watch every habs and wings games( today sucked, they played on the same day so I was flipping between channels)I also will watch the pens, caps if the habs and wings aren't playing. If those teams aren't playing I'll still watch, but I'm a little less interested. I also often watch the late games too. My marks drop so much during the playoffs, but it's worth it. :)

I watch what NASN broadcasts. Usually 2 games per day, which rules, but due those timezones the first match starts at 1AM and the second around 4AM.. Quite late.

i watch when it's on NBC. thats what i get for being cheap on cable.

My buddy and i will go out to watch games more and more as the second season continues. Just have to find a bar that will consistently show the games.

My girlfriend thinks I'm obsessed but I just tell her it's the playoffs and make me a sandwich lol. I'm not that mean, but she really does think I have a problem , which I could. Is there an addiction for hockey like there is for gambling and alcohol, cause I think I have it.

Same here Sven, I wouldn't stay up past the first game in the regular season game though but PO's are special :P.

How much is NASN over your way anyhow?

Well it depends on what teams are playing, i will watch all of the Habs games, and various other games from different series. So atleast one game a night.

i think we pay about 35 extra a month (plus sky digital price) and we get NASN, Setanta 1,2 & Ireland, and Ireland is the same as NASN2, so if the NHL isnt on NASN, it'll be one NASN2

A bit late on this one. Anyway, I watch all the Flyers games. I'm a big World of Warcraft nerd, and all of my "guild-mates and raiding buddies" are checking the Flyers schedule to see when I'll be able to raid with 'em. Kinda sad, I know, but a guy's gotta have something to do while his wife's at work. Ah well.

Are you going to be one of those dudes whose wife divorces him because of a WOW addiction?

And my girlfriend already knows if we got married that there is no way she would even be able to pull me away from hockey lol

Before I watched every possible game, now I'm not missing any of the Flyers vs Pens action being from the east, but I dont watch the Detroit games that much because they are gonna win the west anyway....anyone know what channels to catch the world championships?

I originally answered "as much as I can" but this year, the lustre has been taken from it.

I've been to a lot of caps games, particularly down the stretch, and to a couple of the playoff games. From last place to the playoffs, and then from 3-1 down in the series to OT in game 7 has sort of zapped me.

I can't really get geared up for it like in years past.

I'll flick on for 10 or 20 minutes, and if it's good, will stick around, but for the most part, I've regressed from full on fan to casual for now.

Of course, a deep run next year will correct all that
