TBs are not approved for NHL game play. The players can and have been wearing them in camp.

Thermablades have been making their way into training camps. Modano and Iginla have been using them with positive results.

I've heard from someone that the NHL is leaning towards disallowing them in the NHL.

but does anyone have more info on the Reebok 10k Stick? I went to my LHS and they didnt even know about it, they said the rep hadn't come yet.

So does anyone know approximately when it's coming out? Or AROUND when do you think they're gunna pop up on Ebay?

Was at the Leafs/Penguins game tonight...two long time Tack loyalists have moved to the RBK 9k.

Kaberle was in what appeared to be the new 9k, and Kubina was in the white pumps like Andropov wears. I guess the rep finally got them to change.

Kaberle did the same last year at the blue/white game if i recall correctly. He also used the 9ks a few times during the season... I bet you'll see him back in his tacks soon enough

As JR mentioned earlier, the NHL photos of the NME skate from Mission was Gomez. So no, not as always I guess.

Only difference between old and new;

BaUER (old) and BAUeR (new). I think the text angle is slightly different as well. So will the NHL have a coniption about which letter is lower case for allowed logos? They don't let CCM's block logo and CCM's angled logo coexist.

i went to the pens vs. leafs game recently and malkin broke 3 of his bauer sticks in the first half of the game and a couple of them would have been really good scoring chances.

then when he came out in the next period he had an easton stick he used for a little while - it was yellow and black so i assume it was a easton stealth s11

i don't know if he used it for the rest of the game - but i thought it was funny that he did have backup sticks from another company considering he is a bauer man

He probably had a whole new Batch of NBH sticks, but with the 3 breaking, most likely thought he got a Bad Batch, so just grabbed another players' or some just some house sticks that were lyin around that was close to what he uses to get him through the game. Then call up NBH and tell them to send another doz or so.
