Jason Arnott taken off the ice on a stretcher.

Jason Arnott was released from Vanderbilt Hospital prior to the completion of the Predators/Sharks game. Arnott returned to the arena following his release from the hospital. Arnott will be re-evaluated in the coming days.

Barry Trotz, head coach, “He’s going to be fine. He was released from the hospital, came back and changed, and he’s at home right now. I don’t see any problem in him not being ready for Tampa Bay. He may be questionable for practice with soreness.”

Mike Green just took a hit from Pronger and left the ice. It was a clean hit, but the size of Pronger compared to Green, he went flying, hit his head and shoulder off the boards/glass.

This was just before the break in the first, still no sign of him back

The Dallas Stars announced today that the left wing Brenden Morrow is out indefinitely with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee that will require surgery. He is expected to miss up to six months...

Bottom line is that he is done for the season. The only positive out of this is that the young guys like Neal and Brunnstrom should receive some additional ice time.

Anybody see what happened to Derek Morris last night? FSN AZ crapped out during the first intermission and never came back on. Yahoo has it listed as an upper body injury and nhl.com doesn't have any details at all.

Caps injury update....

Jeff Schultz - Out for several weeks with a broken finger

Boyd Gordon - Back Spasms

Mike Green - Shoulder - Day to Day

Sergei Fedorov - Ankle - Reaggravated, unsure when he is due back

Alex Semin - Back/upper body - Day to Day

John Erskine - Upper body - unsure of status yet

That was one hell of a rough road trip on the caps

Khabibulin just left the ice against San Jose. No official word yet, but it looked like a lower body injury. The announcers were speculating that it might even be a back injury.

Tom Poti missed the last 8 games last night and limped out of the arena, should know more today.

They just keep falling for the caps, Fedorov, Semin, Clark, Gordon, Poti, Green, Erskine & Schultz

As per tsn...

Chris Higgins (apparent hand) and Mathieu Dandenault (Broken arm) both left the Habs game tonight.

Don't feel so bad dropping Higgins in my league earlier today.
