That's unfortunate for CCM because the junior skate looks much better! That's just a standard perforated steel runner on the Junior model, correct?

EDIT: Btw, I saw Michael Nylander's son (one of the elders) at Laurel Ice House the other night practicing, and he was rocking CCM U+s. Weird considering Pop's has been NBH/Bauer skates since I can remember. And Nyls is rocking a visor this year, tinted!

Colors look identical to me. The only difference is the bottom pic has direct lighting, while the top has lighting from the top/right.

Well no, but considering he has four....five?...kids in Team Maryland's top Minor Hockey program (for their ages) I thought that NBH might've helped them out. But then again that is probably too much to expect from the swoosh.

why dont they put the rocket runner on the jr skates or was the rocket runner just marketed to older players

At my LHS here in the UK, the sr. U+ skates don't have the rr's either and the V06's have the same graphics as the rest of the line, they aren't all black.

The 6 has the sam graphics, you might have seen the roller version that is blacked out.

Lack of rocket runner might be for stocking reasons. Probably available to order but they're not rolling them out in Europe for one reason or another. Maybe they don't have faith in the longevity, or perhaps their data shows euro-players aren't gram counters like over here.

Well shit, that's just ugly as hell. I don't remember seeing black Vectors for ice, and the catalog shows normal graphics.
