Warrior Hustler Pant

Recommended Posts

Saw these pants in person yesterday at Monkey - VERY nice...I was impressed. I like how the zippers in the leg have a fabric insert so when they are opened up it doesn't show your leg....haha. Overall, nice pants. And yeah, as mentioned above, the logo is much smaller, embroidered and on the left pant leg, like Lidstroms' pants.

CCM did that on the last generation tacks pants, it's a nice feature.

Pretty positive Lidstrom is wearing the lowers.

So UPS dropped off the pants today. They aren't exactly as pictured. The "W" logo is much smaller on the pair I got, and it's embroidered (sp?) like most other pants as oppossed to screen printed like it appears in the picture. Not really a bad thing in my opinion.

Overall padded pretty well. Fit for me is good, and the materials (liner, etc) are pretty nice.

Not sure when I'll get to take them for a spin on the ice. Hopefully sometime this week

How do they compare to the One90 supreme pants? Are they lighter/heavier? More/less padding? Bulky/sleek? Is the belt on the inside/or outside?

Thanks

Not sure about how they compare to the One90 pant, but the Hustler pants were a bit on the heavy side when I tried them on. Not so much bulk, just a bit heavier than the Tacklas that I had at the time.

Which Tacklas did you have?

Thanks

Anybody else pick up a pair lately since their release earlier this month?

Basically I'm just looking for sizing insights, going to call up my local shop and see if they have any to try on sometime later this week to decide M or L, or a custom length variation of either size.

I saw one person say on Warriors site they received their pair and they run larger than normal, but it's just the one opinion and probably not a very educated one judging by the others posting on the product pages.

I love how you can customize them. I wish my LHS had some i could try on first. I'm wearing the Tackla silver pants and they maybe the best pants ever.

Anybody have an update on these? I am about to order them and was just looking for some last minute details on the sizing. I have medium One90 pants now and would get either a M or a L in the Hustlers depending on how they fit. Thanks for the help.

Same here, although my medium one90s felt a bit snug throughout probably due to the high level of padding, but the waist and length were just fine.

Called up Total Hockey today and they don't have them so either I'm going to have to stick to my old original Vapor 10s and wait, or order blindly off the internet.

I'd say they run a little big. I had Tack 852s in large, and went up to an XL in the Warriors to accommodate my enlarging beer gut and the length is probably 2 or so inches longer, and the waist is much less constricting, which is what I was going for.

Your mileage may vary though.

One thing to note, I've worn mine probably for 7 or 8 games (beer league) now and the liner is starting to wear in some spots, so durability may be a concern on these.

Edited for Spelling

Tried them on today actually, found them really big and slightly bulky. I take a medium amd would have gone in a small in those if I got them. Tough call when you are ordering them online.

I need help. Does anyone have these pants that could elaborate on the sizing. They don't seem to have size specs anywhere for the Warrior Hustler pants and I'm about to order some online. All I've heard from a few threads is that they run big.

I'm 5'7 / 125-130lbs / 27 inch waist (women's...which is probably equivalent to a 29-30 mens)

I don't like the women's pants because they fit strange. I don't have huge hips.

I have the NBH supreme 70's in a women's pant size small. They are very mobile but I'm tired of having a black and blue ass.

Should I get a Small or X-Small. Ice Warehouse has both sizes.

Thanks!

I looked at the catalogue and it wasn't listed. However, it is on warriorhockey.com. I'll chalk that up to a goof when they printed the catalogue.

I'd say XS

how are the butt protection on these?

From what I've seen the hip and tailbone pads overlap, keeping the backside padded. Not the case with my current NBH Supreme 70's.
